Chapter 14 - your just like me.

Chapter 14: Your just like me.

The Headmaster turned to the security while all the students, both drugged and not, rushed outside, looking at the barn as they opened it. Priea stood there in shock.

The door was opened. The Headmaster looked inside to see different types of hard drugs. She was in disbelief as she turned to Priea, who stood there in disbelief.

Stephen and Hannah could not contain their laughter anymore. "One down," Hannah said as she looked through the window. Stephen looked at Hannah before she turned back to the window. "One to go."

"Do you feel amazing?" Hannah said, turning to Stephen, who lay on top of her bed in pajamas, gently stroking the back of her pet lizard.

Stephen gently smiled. "Incredible," she replied.

"I know it's bad, but watching them escort Priea was, like, one of the best days of my life," Stephen said.

Hannah laughed. "Yeah. The gleeful energy really leapt out."

Stephen smiled gently, then she looked at Hannah. "Thank you." Hannah just looked at her comfortably.

Stephen inhaled. "Your house... is really comfortable. It's really cozy."

"Cozy is just a nice way of saying 'small'," Hannah said, looking at the ceiling.

Stephen turned to her. "No, I... I really didn't mean it like that."

Hannah sighed. "No. I know. I'm sorry. I know you didn't mean to. I used to be so afraid of Tara and them finding out this is where I lived."

Hannah turned to Stephen. "Is that twisted? They were my best friends." Stephen looked at her. "Yeah, but your instincts were right."

Then Hannah sat up. "Speaking of, I'm ready to see those texts."

Stephen sat up, placing her pet lizard on top of her lap. "You sure?" Stephen whispered.

Hannah gently nodded her head, then she carried her pet lizard and placed it on top of the tank beside her. Then Stephen picked up her laptop. "Come over here." Stephen said as she gently placed her laptop on top of her lap.

Hannah gently crawled on the bed and came to sit by Stephen's side. The room was dim; they could hardly see each other. The bed wasn't too big; it was a queen-size bed consuming the little space of the room.

Stephen opened her laptop to see different pictures and charts. Stephen looked at the chats in shock. "Oh my God, he's cheating with half the girls in Sara's High."

Hannah just looked at the charts, her expression calm, not revealing what she thought. Stephen scrolled through the messages. "It seems there are messages here from a girl in every clique, goes back years."

Stephen gently turned to Hannah. "Sorry. Are you okay?"

Tears dropped from Hannah's eyes. "Yeah. No, I... I mean..." she cleared her throat. She crawled back to where she had lain before. "...NK is a lying garbage rat, so no surprise he was a cheater too," Hannah said, still trying to wipe her tears.

Stephen looked at her. "If we expose him, everyone will know he did this to you."

Hannah looked at her. "Good. He'll look even worse." Hannah lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling. "We should do it on Valentine's Day. Really go for the drama."

Stephen crawled to her side and lay down next to her. She looked at her. "You know you don't have to be brave with me."

Hannah looked at her. "This sucks." Hannah whispered. Stephen smiled. "It's allowed to suck."

"Yeah. Fine." Hannah scoffed before looking at Stephen. "It really sucks." Hannah said again. She used the bed sheet to cover herself, letting only her face be seen.

Then Hannah looked at Stephen. "Do you think I'll feel better?" as tears rolled down her eyes, her face turned red.

Stephen looked at her, her voice low and calm. "What do you mean?"

Hannah sniffed as she buried her face in the pillow. "I'm just so angry all the time." Hannah tried to wipe her tears. "There's this knot in my chest... But NK stuff made it worse, but it's always been there, and every day I feel it getting tighter and stronger, and I feel like it's choking me." Hannah exhaled.

Tears had already started rolling down Stephen's cheeks. "Sometimes it just hurts to exist, you know. I just wanna feel normal again," Hannah said.

Stephen nodded slightly. "I know exactly what you mean." Hannah just glanced at Stephen.

Stephen just sighed slightly. "Come here," she whispered.

Hannah gently placed her head on top of her chest while Stephen gently touched her head.

Hannah smiled. "I like you, Stephen," she sniffed.

"You're just like me," Hannah said, feeling very delicate.

"Yeah. I am," Stephen whispered.
