The hour came, Fabro was already at the meeting place waiting for the Snow girl. She arrived not along after looking to be in a rush. Greetings Lord of Vanity. Hello,, he said coldy, she looked surprised.
He really didn't have time for pleasantries, the nagging feeling inside him was becoming unbearable, it was as if a string was pulling him south east, towards his home. He gave her the bottle with the pill.
Goodbye miss Snow, I hope meet again someday. He disappeared and appeared infront of his restaurant, it was not teleportation he simply moved so fast without disturbing even the wind that he looked like he teleported.
Pack your things, we're going. Pack what? Everything we own is in the spacial dimension. Right, he took out a book and a piece of paper and placed them on the counter.
He waved his hand and a black cubic box appeared, it was floating above his right hand, it was the spacial dimension box. They stepped outside and jumped, within a second they were already out of town.
Waving his hand again, a boat like black ship covered in metal appeared, this was a gift to him from his grandfather. He had never tried to make a flying ship himself even though he believed he could.
They jumped into the ship and it started floating slowly. The ship rose to a kilometre above the ground and with a whoosh disappeared into the distance. It was as fast as a late stage grandmaster level expert.
It did not take long before they passed the first village, he looked down and the people did not look to be doing well. During winter, villages are the most likely to suffer without the protection from city walls.
He didn't have the time to assist everyone, he could feel it clearly now, something bad was going to happen to his village. He passed by a few other villages, he was familiar with them.
Six years ago when he was heading towards the town, he had passed by and even rested in some of these villages, seeing them struggle like this wasn't nice but he couldn't waste any more time.
Speeding past them in the sky, he continued looking forward, his home was not far away anymore, he could already see the hills he used to play in.
He smelled if before he could even see the village. Blood, he could smell blood, technically with so much cold air he wasn't supposed to be able to smell something so far away but his technique is special, it gives him heightened senses even beyond those of normal awakened.
He sped up the flying ship even faster, it was going at it absolute speed now. He arrived above his village and what he saw made his blood boil. He had assumed he would find a beast ravaging his village but no, what he found instead were humans.
Humans wearing armour from the empire, magic armour of earth grade level. Whoever was their backer was high up in the political hierarchy of the empire, otherwise there would be no way they would be sold earth grade armour.
Without a second word he jumped.

An, full name Anele , she was the daughter of the village chief of mountain river village. She had dark caramel like skin. She liked farming and was really good at it plus it was an important role in the village.
It provided food for the village, of course they also had hunters for that but crops were reliable. Winter had started and they were preparing for it, other than that it was a very normal day.
Then they came, she was talking to her best friend Annie, Annie was a hunter, one of the very few women who were hunters in the village. She was slim woman with a beautiful hourglass figure, long and sharp eyes and a white pale skin.
Her entire body screamed noble lady, she looked like a damsel but she was a devil with the bow. They both turned their heads and looked at the village entrance. A group of well armoured men were approaching.
Hulking lizard like beasts were pulling carriages behind them. The carriage were covered with brown cloths except one. It looked fancy, like something a noble would use.
She was not very knowledgeable about the empire but she was very good as sensing trouble. Having had to look after that rascal there was no way she couldn't see trouble from a mile away.
Why would a noble come all the way here? She thought maybe they were going to the mountain ranges further beyond their village to hunt but something told her that wasn't it. Then she heard little Vale wail, Vale was a special child.
She could tell when somebody is bad, somehow no matter how much they smile, she could tell when somebody is good even if they pretend not to be like that little rascal. Her father was just about to talk to these people.
She screamed and rushed towards him, the man at the front pulled out his sword and hacked him, she watched as her fathers head flew in the air, she screamed even louder and wanted to run straight to the man and gouge his eyes out but Annie held her back.
Out of the fancy carriage came a fat greasy man adorned in what was obviously expensive jewelry. He had a disgusting smile on his face. Greetings peasants, rejoice for you been granted the honour of being in this ones presence.
You will be happy to know that from this day forth you will be the honoured slaves of king Baron Skyclaw, honoured cousin of the great Duke of the Windy Peaks Dukedom. Is it not an honour? Are you not pleased?
The man asked, still with the disgusting smile on his face, she wanted to rip his face off but alas lacked the power to do so. A group of men from the village moved forward. Kneel before me and all your worthless past will be erased from history.
The men looked back at her. Take care of everyone little missy, they said. No what are you guys doing? Don't, please don't, yet before she could continue the men screamed and rushed forward with swords, most of these men were hunters and some were farmers and smiths.
Take the kids and run, said Annie before rushing to pick up her bow. Anele did as she was told, she gathered the kids, she turned back and almost every men was dead, Annie was lying on the ground motionless, bleeding.
She screamed till her voice became hoarse, before she realised she standing over her friends motionless body. A sword raised above her neck, before it could fall something fell from the sky and crushed the man with the sword.
She saw him, he had returned, even with all that armour there was no way she couldn't recognise her little rascal, relief flooded her and she felt her eyes close on their own, the last thing she felt were strong hands catching her and a deep voice. Don't worry, I'm here now, then she fainted
