Fabro had carried the goats in his spacial dimension, in order to hide the spacial dimension he taken then out before reaching the village. The goats are spirit beasts he had tamed in the mountain ranges.
They lived close to the area he found, they were rank 1 mortal grade beasts with the leader at rank 2. He arrived at the village and everybody looked at him slaw jacked, yes, yes, gaze upon this glorious form, he thought with a smug smile, pity nobody could see his dashing looks behind this helmet.
He jumped down from the goat head and went towards An and Yamiko. You've really outdone yourself this time boss. Indeed, indeed you have you little rascal, so do you expect us to ride goats?
You can walk if you want to, he said as he went towards an open area. He took out a lot of metal bars, they were of mortal rank, common metal without any mana, he took out wooded planks as well. He worked at blinding speeds.
Within 15 Min he had already assembled over 400 large carriages. He tied those carriages to the goats, some of them tied together since there were more carriages than goats.
The village still had over 1300 people and it was considered one of the smaller villages around. People loaded their stuffs inside then got into the carriages themselves.
He sat at the front with An and Annie, the twins sat at the middle and Luke at the back. They were ready incase something happens they could react in time. They moved towards their destination.
The path was rough and with the goats moving at 300km/h it was a really hard journey for the mortal villages, especially the old, young and the sick but there was no choise.
It was winter, they needed the security of a home and they needed it fast. Fabro was thinking about the other villages, after he settle down his village and it stabilised he might need to go check up on those villages.
It took them close to two days of travel to get to the mountains, a few hundred kilometres in and they were on the plain as he called it. They got of the carriages, he watched as the people looked around.
This place was large, large enough to fit in multiple villages, it has the width of around 57 km between the mountains and stretched for over 145 km from one entrance to the other.
The two mountains towered at around 5 kilometres, they were actually one of the shortest mountains around. They had to clear the snow and build houses, he could do it within a few hours but he thought it would be better if they builts them themselves.
He went to talk to An about it and she agreed, he could help slightly but it would be better if the people built their own houses, it would make them feel at home easier.
They started by clearing the snow, he worked with them and so did Luke, the girls just said that was a mans job and started making tea. It took a few hours to make a clearing large enough to build atleast 10 houses.
They were not nearly enough but they had to start somewhere. After they were done, the girls made tea for everyone and he gave them the medicine for the winter. People went to sleep after taking the medicine.
While they slept he Installed the first heater he had built himself, it the only heater he had built and it was more effective than the ones installed in town. The temperature within the few kilometres rose.
Snow melted before it could touch the ground. The people slept peaceful within the carriages, the carriages were large but there were too many people, they slept together and that helped keep them even warmer.
Morning came and they ate their rations. It was time to start working. The men and a few physically strong women went to cut down trees on the mountains.they were only around 5 kilometres away from the left mountain.
He sent the goats with them to help carry those logs. There were a few builders amongst the villagers. He taught them how to improve their skills on the art and after that he let them do their thing.
It took a month but they had built houses for every household. They had made the village hall which was extremely large, this solution was temporary, once they fully establish themselves they will build stronger and larger houses, probably.
They settled down and now it was time to figure out what to do about food. They could use the domesticated goats, there were also a few crops left from their harvest, one would expect the cold weather to keep them fresh but no.
It was actually making them rot faster, Fabro had to store them in his storage ring but that was a temporary solution, he can't afterall keep everybodys food on his person, they also had to figure out a way to farm in this weather and again he could think of a solution.
More accurately he had the solution from his memories. He couldn't do everything by himself so he talked to An about it. His solutions was to provide a mana breathing technique for everyone and teach people craft.
Now that they were no longer within the territory of the empire he no longer had to hide his crafting ability. He went to the entrance of the plain and took our a black 20metres tall pilla.
It was the cloaking device he had created. It released white mist in a large area, of course one wouldn't be enough to fully cloak them but he will deal with that later.
The mist caused illusions to whoever enters it without pass and will cause loss of direction however the most important ability was hiding the energy and soul signature of those surrounded by it.
That will reduce the chances of spirit beast sensing the souls of humans nearby, the villagers weren't ready to fight against spirit beasts yet and he was going to be very busy to keep protecting them. In the past month alone he and the other three had killed so many beasts they have lost count.
