Chapter 7 - I am way too under-levelled for this

'A UBM huh!'

'This is both terrible and great, on the one hand, UBM=loot, on the other hand a Dragon-Class Boss evolving into a UBM (which thankfully doesn't raise its level) is terrible for someone this under-levelled'

The two players that had been fighting the Boss were now visibly panicking. They both seemed like Vampires, both hooded with white hair and red eyes.

After getting knocked back near me they finally seem to notice my presence.

"Hey Man! How about some help?" The girl called out to me (the lower level one), she seemed visibly out of breath as their vampiric abilities had little effect on the Boss monster.

I pulled out a bunch of corpses from my inventory to counter the ever increasing Hoard of summoned Plant Golems. I was able to successfully raise 30 skeletons between the levels of 10-20 with the Bandit and regular Goblin corpses.

I sent them at the lower level Plant Golems as they would be able to do two things, the first, thin the Hoard, the second give me a much needed exp boost.

I use the Goblin Mage and the Bandint leader's corpses in order to create two higher level undead, a LV 40 Death Knight, and a LV 17 Skeleton Mage. I then turned the Goblin Archers into skeleton Archers where their levels ranged from 14-16. Giving me an army of 40 soldiers.

I then begin to use the Mage skill alongside the spell Firebolt to increase its strength and damage against the wooden creature.

...

The small fries are suppressed rather quickly earning quite a bit of exp for myself and for my skeletons.

Whilst I fight the small fries, the 2 players had been able to focus on the UBM, despite being unable to deal proper damage they'd distracted it quite well in between my firebolt casts.

The Boss had and it's health reduced to about 1/3 of its max when it entered its second phase. Two more tendril-like arms sprout from its back, the maw on its chest grows wider once more.

The new tendrils launch at its two assailants, restraining them.

I rush towards the creature, using  on my Daggers, to buff myself, deactivating my passive transformation to use . My shadowy skin stops emitting wisps, condensing and becoming visibly larger. My eyes become larger, more enraged. As my physical abilities increase to the maximum.

I rush at the creature, my Death Knight close behind. The Death knight uses the skill  on the Golem, before using its shield to boost me towards its head. I pass by it and flip around, stabbing both daggers into the base of its neck at full strength, activates its effect.

It deals quite a bit of damage, however the Boss monster holds on. A large trunk-like arm is swung at me, my lack of mobility in the air demonstrating itself with my subsequent face-plant into the ground.

My HP is reduced to 8, as the plant infused its arm with a corrupted plant energy.

I concentrate all of my MP into my blades, suffusing them with death energy and fire energy. Before launching a dual slash. The large X shaped flames turn a ghostly white, scorching, freezing and killing the Boss. A massive scream erupts from its mouth as it finally dies. My remaining troops (The Mage, 8 Archers, Death Knight, and 10 skeleton warriors) move to surround me, protecting me from danger. The mage steps forward, re-charging my MP slightly.

Legendary-Rank> (+100% END)

Description: An arm that longs for the flesh (or what ever is there) of the left arm of it's wielder, consuming it in exchange for great power. The arm is fully solid, however, unlike what one would expect from what are essentially wooden tendrils, it is miraculously fireproof. Made from the roots of Zaqqum, the tree born from the Hellfire of the underworld.

Skills

-> Roots: Creates roots that emerge from the ground. When they limit the reach and numbers of roots, their power and speed increase. Vice versa, they can greatly expand the number of roots and their range by sacrificing speed and destructive power.

-> Cursed Seeds: Launches seedlings that plant themselves into the bodies of others, consuming their SP, MP, HP and granting it to the user. Additionally if they feed enough off of a body they begin to control it with their roots, and can eventually become Plant Golems.

-> Field of Posies: Creates a small ring of Posies around an enemy that is within 100 metels (meters) of the user. This ring causes the Confusion effect as well as relaxes and traps opponents in good memories. The posies cause the opponents to lay down in them, consuming them and their happiness which allows them to expand their range from an initial 10 metels to far more.

-> Hellish Tempering- Passive: The item is immune to fire and reduces the user's weakness to it or increases their resistance.

...

"Thanks for the save!" The hooded boy walks up to me, placing his hand on my shoulder. "Without you, me and my Sis would've been turned into fertiliser!"

I nod at him, accepting the thanks.

He speaks soon after "The tag's WhiteMonster, though I don't mind Mon' for short, my sis over there's FluffyMaster, you can call her Fluffy, and you are?"

"Rock Balor, I'd appreciate being called Balor for short, nice to meet you."
