The battlefield quaked as the Third Wave began, thunder and flame echoing like ancient war chants through the crimson dusk.
"Kael'Rath—my Flame Warden!" Shin commanded, eyes flashing with draconic power. "Show them the might of the Neiman Guard!"
Kael'Rath let out a guttural war cry, brandishing his blazing glaive.
"Raven. I'll take part in this wave. Fight beside me."
Raven nodded with a smirk, her shadow magic swirling around her like a living cloak.
The elemental beasts surged forward with fire lions roaring at their sides, launching an array of magic—earth spikes, torrents of water, spirals of wind, and searing fireballs. The sky looked like it was bleeding light.
Raven thrust her hands forward, her shadows forming a massive dome of dark energy to shield their allies.
Kael'Rath stepped into the maelstrom, his voice erupting in a King's Roar. Flame cascaded off his armor like solar flares as he unleashed a blazing slash that cleaved through five beasts in one sweep. Roars became silence.
The Neiman Guard, empowered by their commander's fury, surged forward and cleaned up the stragglers.
Raven inhaled deeply, shadows flaring. "I can feel it… my strength is blooming."
They barely had a moment to breathe before the Fourth Wave began.
Shin charged forward, a streak of obsidian lightning.
His wives followed—each a blazing storm of power.
"Sisterhood runs deep here," Wonder Woman observed as she deflected a barrage of icy shards with her shield. "I think I'm going to enjoy being part of this sisterhood."
"Let's go back up our husband and sisters," Black Widow said, already vanishing into the smoke.
The monsters didn't stand a chance. The battlefield became a slaughterfield.
As the wave ended, Shin gathered his generals and wives.
"All of you—battle-ready. This next wave's gonna bring pain. Let's return the favor. I'll show you how strong your husband truly is."
The Fifth Wave opened like a roar from the underworld. Monsters surged, but Shin raised his arm.
"Armies—clear the trash. The mini bosses are mine."
The hobgoblins and lower demons were annihilated swiftly. That left only two.
The sky darkened as the Thunderbird Riders circled above, and from the shadows emerged the real threats: the Kiju – Elemental Warbear and the Titanblood Ogre Commander.
Shin flew into the air, voice booming.
"I will ask this once. Surrender to me and join my Chaos Shadow Army… or die."
The Titanblood Ogre roared and charged.
Shin's smile was wicked. "So be it."
With a flash of motion, he drove his Dragon Spear straight through the ogre's skull. As it collapsed, he turned on the Warbear and unleashed a devastating dual-elemental strike—fire and lightning intertwining into a catastrophic cyclone that consumed the beast whole.
He stood over the steaming corpses.
"Awaken… and join my army."
Two new shadows slithered from the remains, drawn into Shin's dominion.
Raven watched from afar, eyes narrowed.
"Can I… do the same with my shadows?" she whispered to herself, intrigued.
The battle pressed on through Waves Six to Nine. Each wave pushed harder, but Shin's war machine never broke.
His wives—Shego, Velzard, Lara, and Nina—fought with desperate elegance, finally breaking through their thresholds.
"You've all reached Level Ten," Shin grinned. "Let's finish this last wave and send you to the Ascension Tower."
The Final Wave came with a stormfront of death. Shin stood at the center, flanked by Wonder Woman and Scáthach.
Their resolve was pure flame.
"For the sisterhood," Diana said, rallying the Amazons.
Scáthach gave a feral smile. "Let's see how deep we can carve our names into the world."
Not to be left behind, Natasha and Raven surged into the frontlines.
Shin watched the battlefield burn and whispered, "Let's hope Serafall's handling the sea people well. My little Magical Girl deserves her own spotlight."
Scáthach and Diana suddenly split off and raced toward the twin mini-bosses—an Emperor Ashen Hydra of the Endflame and Queen Xal'thira, Broodmother of Nightmares.
"Too bold, girls…" Shin chuckled before darting to support them.
His shadow soldiers overwhelmed the enemies' guards, allowing the two women to land crippling strikes. Shin followed with his Eclipse Slash, cleaving the foes apart.
The battlefield froze.
And then—

The divine light descended. Shin stood alone at the summit of shattered monsters.
["Big brother… you did it,"] Heart whispered, her voice reverent. ["SSS+… with Emperor's Path bonus. Two Emperors slain within the hour. You're rewriting the system's metrics."]
A beam of light split the skies. Heart emerged, wings spread, and called forth a circle of six divine chests.
["Platinum Legacy Chest incoming~ Shall I open it?"]
Shin nodded. "Let's see what the gods fear to give."
The chest opened, revealing the Fang of the Voidborn Emperor, a gauntlet infused with corruption and flame. Alongside it came a Divine Core Shard and 250,000 System Points.
Then the Emperor Beast Reincarnation Stone glimmered.
["Choose your new pet~"] Heart chirped. ["Oh! A secret option unlocked due to your overkill. Meet the Thunder Monarch Basilisk."]
Shin selected it without hesitation.
["Oho~ sadistic as always. I'll prep the egg."]
Next came his material reward.
"Twilight Obsidium. For my next Eclipse Armor."
Heart floated excitedly. ["Already added! Your forge master is gonna scream. In joy. Probably."]
A Mythic Summon Scroll followed. From lightning and storm emerged the Stormfang Tyrant – Eclipse Roc Wyrm.
His Gold Resource Cards followed. Then, the World Tree Seed (Awakened). A gift of life, destined to evolve his kingdom.
["This seed… might even attract an elf goddess. Maybe a few,"] Heart winked.
Finally, the bonus rewards:
• Supreme Ascension Crystal
• Dominion Expansion Token
• Three Eclipse Summoning Scrolls
["You're becoming more than a king, Shin. You're becoming a Sovereign of Fate."]
His eyes turned to the heavens. A prompt appeared.

The skies shimmered with his title—Shin, Eclipse Sovereign – Conqueror of Subjection—and divine light bathed the land.
Drums echoed in the distance.
Shin proceeded to grabs the two monster cores and uses his all seeing eye.

A massive subterranean biome beneath Dragon Mountain becomes a brood chamber. Here, Xal'thira's influence creates swarms of nightmare creatures, venomous wyrmlings, and psychic larva that patrol the lower caverns.
• [Hive Synapse Chambers]:
Installs psychic link nodes across Dragon Mountain. Shin can issue commands across the domain telepathically, and all beast units in the mountain gain hive-level communication, group instincts, and resistance to illusions or fear.
• [Dreamspawn Incubation Pools]:
Special breeding pools allow dragon eggs, succubus offspring, or hybrid monsters to gestate in nightmare-infused fluid, unlocking random shadow or poison traits like teleportation, illusion, venomous scales, or mental projection.
• [Terrorweave Bio-Walls]:
Replaces key mountain tunnels and walls with semi-sentient biological defenses that can detect, trap, or absorb intruders. These walls react to fear or hostility and can spawn limbs, eyes, or toxin spikes.
As Shin was finishing his task a new mission had already begun.
