Chapter 95 - Chapter 93: The Shattered Gods

---

The world was silent.

For a long moment, there was nothing but stillness. The storm that had raged just moments ago seemed to fade into nothingness, leaving only the echoes of its violence in the air. Chirag stood in the center of it all, his body trembling from the exertion, his flames flickering weakly around him.

Siya, Kael, and the others were still recovering from the aftermath of the battle. The gods had retreated, but the tension in the air was thick. Chirag could feel it—their power, their anger, their desire for revenge.

But for now, they were gone.

He collapsed to his knees, exhausted but triumphant. The gods were not invincible. They could be challenged, even defeated. The thought filled him with both relief and dread. He had won this battle, but the war was far from over.

Siya was by his side in an instant, her hands gentle on his shoulders as she helped him to his feet. "You did it," she said softly, her voice filled with awe. "You stopped them."

Chirag's eyes met hers, and for a moment, the world around them faded. She was here. She was alive. And that was all that mattered.

"We did it," he corrected, his voice hoarse but full of pride. "Together."

Kael approached, his face grim but determined. "The gods may be gone for now, but they will not forget what happened here. They will return. And next time, they will come with everything they have."

Chirag nodded, understanding the truth in Kael's words. The gods would never let this challenge go unanswered. They would come again, stronger, more vengeful. But Chirag knew one thing: they wouldn't be able to crush them so easily this time. He had seen their weakness. He had seen the doubt in their eyes.

"We need to prepare," Chirag said, rising to his feet with Siya's help. "We need to gather our allies, strengthen our forces, and be ready for whatever comes next."

Siya squeezed his hand, her eyes full of resolve. "We'll face it together. No matter what."

The journey ahead would be long and dangerous. The gods had shown their true power, but they had also shown that they could be wounded. Chirag knew that their fight was far from over. But as long as he had Siya, Kael, and the others by his side, he knew they could face whatever the gods threw at them.

---

The following days were filled with preparations. Chirag and his companions traveled to the Demon Realm, gathering forces and allies. News of the gods' defeat had spread like wildfire, and many came to join their cause. Demons, humans, and even some of the fallen gods who had been forgotten by the Council of Gods.

In the Demon Realm, Raegor, the Demon King, met with Chirag. The Demon King had always been a powerful ally, and now, more than ever, his strength would be vital. They discussed strategies, plans, and alliances. Every corner of the realm was being fortified, every warrior prepared for the next battle.

But Chirag knew that physical strength alone wouldn't be enough. They needed to strike at the heart of the gods' power—their control over time, fate, and reality itself. The relics they had gathered—each one powerful in its own right—would play a crucial role in the battles to come. But there was still so much they didn't know.

Chirag stood in the Demon King's war room, looking at the map of the realms spread out before him. His hand hovered over the marked locations—the places where battles would be fought, where armies would clash. He knew that this was just the beginning.

"We need more information," Chirag said, turning to Siya. "We need to understand the gods' plans, what they're really after."

Siya nodded. "The gods are more than just powerful beings. They control the flow of time, the balance of the realms. If we can find a way to disrupt that—"

"We can win," Chirag finished, his eyes burning with determination. "We can rewrite the rules. We can bring an end to their tyranny."

Kael stepped forward, his expression serious. "There's one place where we might find answers. The Temple of Echoes. It's said to hold the secrets of the gods, their true intentions. But it's dangerous. No one who has gone there has ever returned."

"We'll go," Chirag said without hesitation. "We have no choice."

---

The Temple of Echoes was located deep within the mountains, hidden from the world. It was a place where time itself seemed to fold in on itself, where the past, present, and future collided in an endless spiral. Legends spoke of its power, of the knowledge it contained—knowledge that the gods had fought to keep hidden.

The journey to the temple was treacherous, the path winding through frozen caverns and endless chasms. But Chirag and his companions pressed on, determined to find the answers they needed. The gods may have controlled time, but they had never understood the power of a mortal's will to fight for what was right.

As they reached the temple, they were greeted by a chilling silence. The entrance loomed before them, dark and foreboding. The air was thick with the weight of ancient secrets.

Chirag stepped forward, his hand gripping the relics they had gathered. "We're not turning back," he said, his voice steady.

Siya smiled faintly. "We never do."

Together, they entered the Temple of Echoes, ready to face whatever awaited them inside.
