Chapter 25 - 100 Blood Points

The rate at which his blood flowed surprised Luis himself.

In a short period of time, it could probably fill a medium-sized swimming pool and he did not feel weak at all, as if there was no wound on his body.

And then he discovered one other problem. The wound on his hand began to heal quickly.

Not long after he discovered that, the wound finally closed and the blood stopped flowing.

Whoosh!

He quickly turned back into a human, plopping himself down in that golden blood.

All Level E+ Awakeners knew by themselves the method of absorbing monster blood. It was a natural ability that appeared directly within them from the moment they entered that level.

Using it only required thought.

Shua!

The golden blood of the gorilla began to be absorbed by Luis' body, as if he became a whirlpool that swallowed everything.

His eyes focused more on his Blood Points, wanting to see the result of this absorption.

[Blood Points: 5]

[Blood Points: 15]

[Blood Points: 25]

[Blood Points: 40]

Luis could only be dumbfounded as he looked at the rapid increase in his Blood Points while he had not even absorbed a third of the Primordial Golden Gorilla's blood.

If he absorbed it all, wouldn't his Blood Points certainly reach 100 Points?

He didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

No wonder Primordial Monsters were so sought after. They were indeed too extraordinary, but one needed strength to be able to harm them.

Not long after, his Blood Points actually reached 100 Points.

[Name: Luis Moonvale]

[Level: E+]

(EXP: 0%)

[Estimated Power: 450]

[Blood Points: 100]

(Spirit: none!)

DING!

(Your Blood Points have reached 100 Points, 100% EXP required to advance to Level D!)

"Hahaha!" Luis finally burst out laughing.

He felt like hitting the floor to channel his happiness.

The hardest part for others became the easiest part for him.

Who knew how much money he could make if he helped others earn Blood Points.

Of course, doing so was very risky.

He wouldn't do it and selling the packaged blood was also useless because after standing still for a while, even blood from Primordial Monsters wouldn't increase Blood Points anymore.

'Now I just need to collect EXP, but that has to be outside the city, it's very difficult to find Level 4, let alone Level 5 monsters inside the city,' he thought.

There probably weren't any Level 5 monsters in the city. The snake he killed was likely the only one since it was left behind by Isadonna to guard her Lifeborn.

Whoosh!

He turned into a bird, exiting the large warehouse.

After that, he flew high into the sky even though it was already getting dark.

With his current state, he only wanted to find EXP so that he could reach Level D today as well.

This city was already useless and he immediately flew outside the city where the atmosphere seemed extremely gloomy, able to make the heart tremble.

If the cities in Velos were similar to the cities in Apocalypse World, this could not be said for outside the city. This is because the monsters did a lot of damage or built their headquarters which made the world more or less look different.

'I heard there's a Bluestone lair around here, let's go find it,' he thought as he surveyed the streets outside the city that were full of destruction.

Bluestone wasn't just a monster, it was a monster but also a rock, or rather, it was a rock that evolved into a monster.

Unlike other monsters, Bluestone was a solitary monster and did not actually have a Monster Core as it was like a Monster Core itself. It's just that, its soul is famous for giving a lot of experience. It can be twice that of other monsters.

And its corpse was quite sought after as its body was composed of extremely precious stones, worth more than diamonds in the jewelry world.

Of course, with a higher value, that means its body is much harder.

It could be said that it was one of those monsters that was extremely difficult to kill. It could stand still and let dozens of Awakeners attack it and still not be scratched.

Killing it actually requires a special method.

Because of the difficulty of killing it, it was able to stay around Velos 33 until now and not be killed.

Luis was interested in trying it out. He could rely on the Death Knight King and use his skills to attract enemy souls with soul chains.

Although he didn't know the exact location of the Bluestone, by continuing to fly, he eventually found an area similar to the description of its base where it was a rocky area and the stones had changed color by becoming slightly bluish.

It was actually on the banks of a large river that was often a tourist spot for Velos residents.

There, there was a large hole similar to a snake pit, large enough to be called a giant well.

That hole is the Bluestone's main lair.

From what Luis had heard, the Bluestone was at Level 5.

Although the Bluestone is not a monster with a large size, it is only the size of a car at most and does not get bigger as it levels up, like Zombies and Undead, but with Level 5, it has a very strong attack power, it is not strange that it can make a very large nest.

Luis didn't rush into action. He looked around first, looking to see if there were other people.

He didn't want any distractions while he fought with the Bluestone.

'Uh, why is he here?'

Having just made an observation, he was surprised when he saw a bald young man who was hiding in the river by diving and only keeping his nose out of the water.

He was Milo, the person who had always antagonized him for no reason.

Of course, it was surprising to meet him in Apocalypse World, especially since he was alone near the Bluestone base.

'It seems that he wants to infiltrate, does he want to die?' Luis wondered in confusion.

He didn't underestimate him, but the fact was that he was indeed insignificant among Awakeners with Spirits. He was only at Level E, lower than him.

Basically, he could only look down on Awakener without Spirit.

Against a Level 5 Bluestone, he would be completely helpless.

'I wonder what he's planning, unless he has something reliable.'

Luis was somewhat curious knowing that Milo wasn't stupid enough to act recklessly.
