Chapter 13 - Ch. 013 - Practice [1]

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. By taking a deep breath and slowly exhaling them, I am able to clear my mind in order to feel and see the energies around me.

When forming a Force Core, one needs to have a feel for the energy around them. Once I was able to get a view of these light particles floating around me, I acquired the basic common skill: Force Senses.

First step: acquire Force Sense. Check. Time to move on the second step: to pull the energies to my sternum.

I tried to guide them, but whenever I held them for a few seconds, I would lose control over them, and they would float away from me instead of growing closer to me. I tried to follow what the book said and relaxed myself instead of intervening to let the energies guide themselves to my sternum. But they did not move.

Feeling myself irritated, I took another deep breath and slowly exhaled once more, clearing my emotions that could hinder my improvement. When all was clear, I decided to do something new.

Instead of forcing them to go in my sternum or to let them guide themselves towards it which will take a lot of time and patience, which patience I did not have, I imagined countless chains coming out from my sternum, slowly reaching the floating energies around me until they connected. The chains linked themselves to the energies and I slowly pulled them back along with the linked energy to my sternum.

Once the chains and energies got to my sternum, the now trapped energies in my sternum were just floating around. Which I found strange because they were supposed to automatically form a gas sphere. But my guts told me that the energy I gathered wasn't enough, so I let out the chains to gather the newly formed energies around me.

I kept doing this process for five times until I felt like throwing up because of how much I was filled with energy inside me. Then, I saw it.

All the energies trapped inside my sternum slowly configured themselves into what looked like a sphere. At first, the sphere looked so translucent that I thought it wasn't enough to form a gas sphere, which made me flinch at the thought of gathering more energy. It made me flinch because if I gathered more than I could hold, I would literally throw up and it would mess up my process, making me start over to zero.

But the remaining energies that were surrounding the translucent sphere joined the rest of the pack, overlapping one another until a gas sphere has been made.

Or so I thought when the energies were slowly escaping the pack, making my sphere look like something blasted through it.

I panicked. Yet I remained calm.

When the energies were slowly separating from the sphere, the chains wrapped themselves around the escaping energies and brought them back to the sphere, where the rest of the pack were waiting for the first step to finish.
