CHAPTER 23
Diandra was led by Alice to the dining room. Alice guided her to take a seat, but she refused and stood along with the servants on the side. "No. I cannot eat with His Majesty." The other maids eyed her with weird expressions on their faces. Alice was somehow getting used to her already. She was about to tell Diandra otherwise, but someone came and responded.
Kael walked into the dining room just in time to hear Diandra's words. He stopped mid-step, his brows knitting together in confusion. "What the hell are you talking about?" He asked. His voice was laced with irritation.
Diandra turned to him and straightened her posture. He blinked at how she looked stunning and annoying at the same time. She was disturbingly beautiful. He swallowed and tried to focus on her craziness instead.
"Your Majesty, I am only a knight. It is not my place to dine at the same table as you." She stated.
