CHAPTER 22
Kael leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. "Have you made the appointments?" He asked, his voice laced with exhaustion.
Butler Jones nodded. "Yes, sir. It's already settled. She has an appointment with the doctors this afternoon."
"Good." At least something was going according to plan. "You'll take her to the hospital. Bring Alice with you and a driver."
Jones inclined his head. "Understood, sir."
Kael heaved a sigh and stood up. "I have final training all day. So, I'll leave everything to you, Jones. Make sure she goes to that appointment." He adjusted his wrap-around robe, though he was still in his sleep attire.
"We'll handle everything, sir."
He glanced toward the staircase. "And keep an eye on her. I don't want another situation like this morning."
Jones nodded. "Alice and I will ensure she remains in check."
