While the moon shined brightly at the wastelands, giving a bright white look on the mountains and hills that inhabited the place, sorata was standing untop of a hill while looking at the full moon with the stars shining at the background, he recalls the things bara said earlier in the day "Hm, outer worldy creatures huh? That sounds like something you'll see in a video game or a manga. But I have to admit, it sounds like fun. But I don't care. As long as it doesn't affect my goals, it's not my problem", sorata was having an inner monologue with a smirk on his face while looking at the night sky. His hands were in his pockets and the wind was blowing his purple hair as well as his purple short sleeved jacket "I see you're having you're midnight internal monologue as usual ", shinki was walking up too sorata as he said this, his face was just normal, no smirk, no look of disinterest. Sorata turned to him "Ah, shinki? I see you decided to drop by and say hi. Well, we don't usually talk that often due to the fact that youre always going around and doing mercenary jobs while I just walk around lands while robbing and burning thieves and stupid ass gangsters and bandits", sorata said all this to shinki with a smirk and amusement in his voice. Shinki replied while walking beside him "I keep saying you're a psychotic bastard but you still disagree with me. Who in their right minds go around eviscerating criminals and robbing them of their money?", sorata replied while facing the sky "Well, just like you, I'm a guy who found himself working with a very suspicious and powerful lady and has no other choice but to go around obeying her orders just so I can get stronger and achieve my goal.", shinki had a dissapointed but yet funny look on his face "You mean your sadistic goal of taking yourself out along side you dad?". Sorata paused for a moment and just smirked "You don't have to say it like that. And plus, your goal is pretty sadistic as well. You want to destroy the city when you feel you're strong enough coz of what they did to your adopted dad and how they treated your kid brother. Right?", shinki just sighed and replied "You also have a kid brother in the city just like me, and we both want to see how strong they've grown before going after our major objectives. In the end, we're both psycho's". Sorata replied with a devious smirk on his face, his face still looking at the sky with the wind blowing his hair "I know, right? It's people like us that still follow through our plan even tho we know it's certain death for us at the end. I guess that's just how the plot is towards us.", shinki just smiled "You've got a point.", he said so as his red hair and cape was flowing with the wind. Sorata then exclaimed with his smirk "We'll make sure we cause all the damage we want to inflict on the world. And whether we win or lose, we'll make sure we keep laughing. Forever, and ever!!!", "Spoken like a true maniac", shinki replied with a smirk as well. About a month later, alex was playing some video games on his TV, his hair seemed to have grown a bit more and he looked slightly more his age. Alex while playing his video game was playing a character in a mech suit with a blaster, who was flying in the air at incredible levels of speed and was blasting beams at a huge and terrifying dragon "Come on. Come on! What is with this level? The boss has like 5 lives and like 12 back up lives with almost infinite stamina. I'm convinced that the game developer just want the players to lose. Scummy bastards!!" As alex kept playing, his character and the dragon were blitzing through the sky and were causing huge explosions in the sky, the dragon was causing huge explosions by blasting out beams from its mouth continuously, alex's character on the other hand was just blasting beams of his own, as well as dodging and cutting through the attacks of the dragons and evading as much as possible "I'm almost there. Just one single attack and I'll win!" As alex kept spamming beams, the dragon shot out a powerful beam of energy that evicarated his character. Alex exclaimed in annoyance "Fuck! Are you kidding me?!! I was so close!!! I almost had em. What a pain in the ass." Alex dropped the video game controller and just took a sigh of annoyance, he stared at the ceiling for a few moments as he was taking his time to reflect "I can't believe its been about a month already. Like seriously, I started my journey as a D-rank, went through all sorts of missions and near death experiences. Before I knew it, I got promoted to C-rank, started my three years of training arc about a month ago, fought a giant ass snake to the death, and now I'm here. Time really does fly, huh?" Alex turned to his game and picked up the controller "Well it doesn't matter at all. One more game wouldn't hurt tho.". Suddenly, the door to his house slowly opened with a creaking sound, followed by a guy holding a sword slowly walking into the house, he had a grey shirt, and black jeans and his hair was grey. The air around him scremed danger "Hey, are you alex starion, the grandson of ranpo? I'll only ask this once. Where is the mallenia crossvell?!", the boy said this with a dangerous look on his eyes with green energy emitting out of his body. Alex on the other hand didn't seem to be alarmed by this at all, he just kept on playing his video game "Um, I don't have time for this. So can you leave? That would be great. Thanks", he said this lazily. This immediately killed the dangerous vibe that grey(The kid who just walked in with a sword) was emitting "Huh?", grey exclaimed with a funny yet confused look on his face. He gets annoyed and his sword materialised into a long spear. Grey immediately threw his weapon at alex "Hey! IM TALKING TO YOU!", he yelled in anger. Alex immediately dropped his video game controller and then blitzed grey out of his house, this caused a huge explosion outside the house. As the smoke cleared off, grey was struggling to get up, as he looked up, he was shocked to see alex pointing his own spear at him with a cold look in his red eyes as alex stood above him "Hey, what's your problem? You don't want me to make your head roll all over the floor. Do you?"
