"I guess that was the reason," Seraphina replied.
"That was why she asked us to retreat to the kingdom to honor Father's death and even sped up his burial," I explained carefully and Seraphina nodded.
"She must have loved the Alpha dearly and has been living in remorse ever since the unfortunate incident happened."
"Well, I hope she prays for forgiveness before she gets punished. I will take a nap, Seraphina; any matters can wait." I said as I turned to the side gently, enduring the pain in my stomach.
"Sleep well, your majesty." She said as she covered me with the blanket and then walked out.
