"You went to check up on him? He must have been so miserable that yesterday, I'm glad you took your time and went to visit him."
"Well, after all, he's my brother." He retorted as the shaman finished praying for the queen.
Alistair rushed from behind us and knelt by his Mother's coffin. He tried to control the tears in his eyes, but he could not. The tears flowed uncontrollably from his eyes as he placed his hands on the coffin.
"Mother I'll miss you.
"Kidnapper! Son of the wicked queen!"
Voices came from the crowd, and they started throwing stones at him; Alistair did not move an inch, but I pitied him.
Lorien tried to hold me back, but I resisted his hand, and I ran to cover Alistair from behind. They stopped throwing stones although I was hit by some.
"This is the Queen's burial! Have you no respect for the dead?" Lorien asked angrily and silence enveloped us.
