Chapter 32 - Ch-32: Moving out

"Sect Master, the question of inseparability, let's not talk about it. Can I ask—where exactly are we going?"

Tian Shen's brows furrowed slightly as he questioned.

Feng Yan and Qiu Zheng exchanged glances before replying solemnly:

"Roughly 500 kilometers from our Beast Taming Sect, within the territory of Profound Qi Sect. Their strength far surpasses ours."

"You're heading to Profound Qi Sect? Then shouldn't it be safe? Do we have any conflict with them?"

Tian Shen asked again, puzzled.

"No. The place we're going has nothing to do with the Profound Qi Sect. It was discovered long ago by a senior of our Beast Taming Sect... an ancient sect ruin."

"What? An ancient sect?"

Tian Shen's eyes widened in shock.

"Yes," Feng Yan nodded, then continued.

"This ancient sect, based on generations of investigation by our Beast Taming Sect's elders, used to belong to our Northern Territory. When it flourished, it had cultivators at the Core Formation Realm."

Qiu Zheng added.

"We can't be sure if Core Formation Realm was their peak powerhouse, or if someone even stronger once existed there."

"Core Formation Realm isn't the limit? Then is it the Core Strengthening Realm... why would such a sect vanish then?"

Tian Shen murmured, astonished.

Feng Yan's expression turned grim.

"That's what we find baffling. The sect's disappearance might be tied to the Demonic Tribes. Even now, the ruins remain heavily saturated with demonic energy. That alone makes it extremely perilous."

"An ancient sect... filled with demonic energy."

Tian Shen pondered deeply for a moment, then raised his head with resolute eyes.

"I won't back down. Even if I were to hide, I'd still go with you to this ancient sect."

"This..."

Feng Yan hesitated.

The ancient ruins may have housed Core Formation Realm or stronger, but that was all in the past. Currently, thick demonic energy still lingered there, making it extremely hazardous.

Even Foundation Establishment Cultivators could be affected by it—once tainted, their temperament might shift, turning them into bloodthirsty monsters. This had happened more than once.

Only those who had stepped into the Core Formation Realm could barely resist such energy.

Tian Shen's talent was too extraordinary. Feng Yan didn't want to risk losing such a rare seedling to the corruption of demonic energy.

"Let's discuss it later."

Qiu Zheng saw Feng Yan's concern and tactfully intervened.

...

A day later.

All disciples and elders of the Beast Taming Sect gathered once more at the inner sect square.

By now, everyone had heard of the danger looming over their sect.

But not a single person chose to flee.

Even those core disciples who were to be sent away for training remained.

They had spirit.

Those who lacked it had already run away during the previous attack by the demonic beasts.

Moreover, with Feng Yan and the elders keeping things hidden, only Tian Shen, Feng Yan and Qiu Zheng truly knew the full story.

The others simply believed that Su Jin, a traitorous elder, had colluded with outsiders and brought disaster upon them.

That misunderstanding brought Feng Yan a mix of gratitude and helplessness.

He never expected such unity among his disciples.

Still, the decision had to be made—to transfer everyone, Tian Shen included, to the ancient sect ruins within the Profound Qi Sect's influence.

As the disciples gathered, all belongings had been packed. The Beast Taming Sect was practically empty now.

Only the sealed Beast Taming Hall remained untouched.

Over 80,000 people were on the move. The scale of such migration was massive.

And since they were venturing into another sect's territory, Feng Yan made careful arrangements.

Each elder and supervisor would lead a thousand people.

Feng Yan himself would escort the core disciples, setting off ahead to prepare for any unexpected events or threats from the Profound Qi Sect.

"Move out!"

At his command, the entire Beast Taming Sect began their migration.

As they descended the mountain, many looked back at their home, uncertain if they'd ever return.

"Sect Master, you go ahead. I'm fast and can catch up easily. I just remembered—I left a disciple's family token in my old residence at the outer sect. It's very important. I must retrieve it!"

Tian Shen halted a few steps into the journey and spoke to Feng Yan.

"Go then. We're moving straight ahead. With your speed, you'll catch up easily."

Feng Yan didn't think much and approved without hesitation.

But Tian Shen had no token to retrieve.

While his predecessor did have a family, Tian Shen himself had little attachment to them now.

If he never went back, it wouldn't bother him.

The real reason he made up the excuse was simple—attribute bubbles.

He didn't yet fully understand the laws behind how those attribute bubbles formed and dropped, but he knew one thing.

An event this large was bound to leave behind plenty.

And if he could collect enough of them… perhaps his strength could reach the Core Formation Realm?

Of course, even Tian Shen knew that was wishful thinking.

Back in Blood Fox Valley, defeating 2-Star monsters had only yielded four or five thousand attribute points.

Now, most of these disciples were still at the Body Refining Realm. Even in bulk, how many points could they truly provide?

Especially now that Tian Shen had reached the 7th stage of Qi Refining Realm, most of the white attribute bubbles had stopped appearing altogether.

He began to suspect that, as his cultivation grew, lower-tier attribute bubbles simply no longer dropped.

If that were true…

Then he truly had to thank the disciples and elders of the Beast Taming Sect—for not overwhelming him with spiritual attributes.

Because if he had already broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm… would even the green bubbles stop appearing?

Well, not a big problem.

Tian Shen's mouth nearly split from grinning.

This harvest was simply immense.

After all, it was the entire Beast Taming Sect he had scoured.

Even if the white attribute bubbles had become rarer, it didn't mean they were completely gone.

Especially those that had dropped earlier and had been left untouched — they still lingered.
