Chapter 24 - Omake: Izuku Swap 2

The system had finally been able to escape that strange group of students with Bakugo. Currently, they were hiding inside one of Nezu's secret passageways.

Nezu had tons of them, all interconnected, allowing him to spy on anyone inside the school. Mordred always commented that if he and Merlin ever met, they would end the world together. As they crawled through these Nezu-sized passageways, they decided to exit into one of the empty teacher's offices. Slapping a secret button on the inside of the tunnel, the system slowly pulled themselves out, and immediately realized they were not alone. A super thin blonde was in his office, sitting at his desk, staring at the system.

"Uh... young Midoriya, how did you fit in my wall?" While in the tunnel, Izuku had taken the metaphorical wheel because he was the only one who had memorized the entire tunnel layout.

Getting super defensive, Mordred forcibly switched places with Izuku. "Who are you, and how do you know Izuku?!" she shouted, red lightning sparkling in her hair. The skeletal man looked taken aback. Was this person a shapeshifter? Were they impersonating young Midoriya? Were they living in the walls? "That's beside the point! How do you know young Midoriya, shapeshifter?!" the man, who was clearly All Might, shouted.

Mordred was already high-strung from being chased by the weird group of people, and now there was some strange person occupying one of the empty offices. Is he a squatter? Mordred was prepared to knock this man out and bring him to Nezu. Nezu has to know what's going on; he has all those hidden cameras and a bunch of other stuff he uses to spy—uh, I mean protect the students. Yes, he was protecting the students, and if anyone asked if he was spying on them, they didn't hear it from her.

Nezu had been having a pretty normal morning, but things became strange when he arrived at his principal's office. Sitting on his desk was a blend of tea he had never heard of, along with a note. Nezu, being curious, opened the letter. It read as follows:

"Dear King of UA,

As a fellow educator, I find your hero school to be quite interesting. Creating the future and modern-day myths of today, you are the Chiron or Scáthach of this era. Anyway, my employer thought I should throw a curveball at your heroic academy. So, using my— for lack of a better phrase— quirk, I switched your students with a version of him from an alternative reality. I hope this will give you the entertainment you've been craving. Don't worry; the two will be switched back after two weeks.

Signed,

A Fellow Educator,

Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg."

Nezu quickly used his surveillance system to find out who the switched student was. It became abundantly clear when he checked the Class 1A dorms and found a slightly younger and strangely different Izuku Midoriya. After that, he watched the ensuing hijinks and eventual escape of the student. Using his elite deduction skills, he anticipated where Midoriya would wind up.

As Nezu walked into All Might's office, it became evident that this version of Midoriya had barely any relationship with All Might. In fact, based on his use of Nezu's secret passageways and tunnels, it looked more like Nezu himself was the mentor of the student. "Calm down, Midoriya," Nezu said. This blonde-haired form of the student clearly had a more confrontational personality than the normal Midoriya.

"Yagi, please take a seat. Something strange has happened, and we all need to discuss it," Nezu said with authority. All Might, confused but trusting Nezu's judgment, decided to listen. Nezu then gestured for the system to take a seat as well. He retrieved the note and presented it for the two of them to read.

Mordred had switched with Emiya. He was smarter than she was, and due to the strange situation they were in, all three of them felt a bit paranoid. So, Izuku was off the table for now. Nezu observed the switch with interest as both All Might and Emiya read the open note from Zelretch.

So your not my young Midoriya?" All Might asked looking at the clearly not Izuku staring back. His eyes didn't have the same shine as Izuku He looked more like a robot or a machine. The current white haired boy nodded. "And he's not our Nezu."

Nezu instantly latched onto the word "our" with interest. "Our, as in more than one person? Do you have a sentient quirk?" Nezu asked. The golden eyes of Emiya sharpened as he responded, "We have a mental disorder called D.I.D." Nezu nodded; that made sense. Then he noticed All Might's confused expression.

"Multiple Personality Disorder, Yagi," Nezu explained. All Might, quickly understanding, nodded his head. His face seemed to go through multiple emotions all at once: concern, confusion, understanding, fear, and finally, regret.

"How many alters does your system currently have?" Nezu asked. Emiya stared at Nezu for a while before responding, "Five."

"Why does your body change when you switch?" Nezu asked.

"Different parts of the system's quirk factor get activated and deactivated, depending on who's in control of the body. Because of that, we all have different quirks," Emiya answered.

Nezu nodded in excitement. "No wonder I took an interest in you! You have such an intriguing blend of mental and physical differences. Tell me, how was your first day in Class 1-A? I want to know what's different about it compared to the native Izuku."

Emiya blinked for a moment before answering in a confused tone, "We've never been in Class 1-A. You've been personally teaching us since we were six years old."

Nezu nodded. "Yes, teaching you all in a traditional classroom probably wouldn't work."

All Might, feeling a little guilty, realized that neither he nor Nezu had asked for the name of the personality they were talking to. "Can I ask for your name?"

Emiya nodded and replied, "I'm Emiya. The blonde-haired girl is Mordred, and Izuku was the one who crawled out of the tunnel."

All Might nodded happily; he now knew more about this version of his successor.

Before they could continue their conversation, the office door was smashed open, and two very worried-looking students from Class 1-A rushed into the room.

"All Might Sensei! I have come to report... oh, Principal Nezu! I see you're here as well! This definitely makes things faster! Anyway, back to the point! We found a stranger threatening people in our dorm building, but we lost them on campus!" yelled a blue-haired student wearing glasses.

"Yeah, and we can't find Deku-kun anywhere!" shouted a brown-haired girl blushing next to the blue-haired male student.

All Might looked at Nezu, hoping he had some kind of plan to explain what happened. Nezu smiled before saying, "Thank you for the report, Iida and Uraraka. Why don't you gather up the rest of your class and report to your classroom? All Might and I will be there shortly to get everything straightened out."

The two looked like they wanted to protest, but when Nezu gave them a reassuring smile, they quickly vacated the premises as fast as possible.
