Katherine's POV
The show was a flop, a huge one. The anchor had been really out for blood, asking us uncomfortable questions but Jack and I managed to do what we could without losing our cool.
Melissa.
I wanted to see her right in front of me and pound into her till her mouth with which she knew she knew how to lie and cause discord burst open.
I knew Jack wanted to do the same with how rigid and tense his jaws were.
Jack didn't say anything all through the ride home but I knew he was mad. His anger rolled off in waves and I almost melted with the force of it while seated beside him.
He dashed out of the car the moment Taylor parked it in the house and marched into his bedroom without waiting for me. I didn't see him again that day and I didn't worry about it.
I dressed up for work the next morning and went out of the house. I didn't see Jack but heard from Susan that he already left. Just as I expected. It was time for me to leave and do something with my life too.
