Kealith;
The sound of the door opening catches my attention, and I turn around, wondering who has come this time to try their luck getting me away from here.
My mother walks in a flowing black dress. Her hair is down as always, and she looks beautiful. However, I frown when I see the tray of food in her hands.
"It surprisingly took you long enough," I say as I turn away from her, ignoring the tray, and she chuckles.
"You forget that I know you better than anyone else. I may seem gentle, but you got your stubbornness from me." She says as she walks over to me.
"I knew you weren't going to come up no matter what's been said to convince you." She adds, and I look up at her.
"Hold it, " she instructs as she holds out the tray, and I glance at her.
"Go on…" She urges, and I sigh before taking it from her.
"I told you. I'm not eating until Mirelah comes back," I inform her, and she smiles before opening her bottle of ember wine.
