Henry was released the next day, Emily had told him that he would be supervised for some days to make sure he's safe. Since it was Saturday, he wouldn't need to go to school but he was too tired to go to work either.
As soon as he got home, he phoned his boss who suggested he should take the whole month because he was leaving the country. Thanks to that, he now has a lot of time to plan what to do if he want to save May.
The whole day was boring, which was a little surprising since Henry loves staying at him, but today was different, May was out there, somewhere, and if anyone found her before him, she'll be killed.
He decided to go to the park and wait till the evening.
As always, the park was peaceful, the perfect place to clear his mind. Henry stayed till it was dark before finally going home. Maybe he can meet her, he followed the same road that he first met the demon that transformed May. According to the family, she never came home after that night. That mean she was still somewhere.
Henry suddenly remembered when May tears fell on his face.
_She was really... crying. There must be a little bit of humanity left in her._
Henry walked home slowly, dragging his feet on the road when he sensed something following him but he couldn't tell what.
_Maybe it's just because of my awakened technique_ Henry smiled to himself. "I can't believe I'm able to use my technique in a real fight, but since then, I've been getting this weird feeling"
A cooled wind blew past him, he could still sense the present. It might be one of those supernaturals who said they were going to keep an eye on him but if they are following him that mean he won't be able to find May so he started to run, dismissing the idea of looking for May.
After the park, there were some buildings, then nothing but a clear road leading to the next town. Luckily for Henry, after the buildings, the person won't be able to follow him if he wants to stay hidden.
Henry kept running, just a few meters from the end. Something jumped from the bush, blocking his path.
It was May.
Henry paused, unable to say anything. It was now clear, May was the one who has been watching him.
May walked to him as he gently moves back, he didn't know what to do, he had said he wants to find May and make sure that the supernaturals didn't find her but he didn't think of how he would be able to protect with the supernaturals supervising him.
May continued to walk towards him and tried to reach with her arm but fell down, Henry darted to her just in time to catch her. She was unconscious, there was some battle scars on her body.
_She must have fought some other demons._ Henry thought as he carried her in a bridal style, May was a little lighter, maybe too light. Henry walked home with the thought of protecting her.

It has been two months since May was sleeping, and she has not woken up. The school has gone on an early holiday because of the news of demons, and his boss hasn't come back from his trip, he spent his days staring at May, hoping she would wake up one day.
And his prayer was answered.
Henry went to check on May. She was still sleeping; at this point, he didn't even know what to do.
_Is she going to remain like this?, What if she suddenly wakes up one night and eats me?_
Henry held her hand and looked at her face. She looked more beautiful than when she was human. Her short black hair had grown to her waist, her orange eyes were now brighter, and her body was sexier and lighter. For some reason, he liked her better.
Henry don't know what got into him and he kissed her. May immediately woke up and jumped out of the bed.
"M...May, are you okay?" Henry asked but she didn't respond. He slowly walked to her and stretched his hand to her. "I was scared, I thought you were never going to wake up"
May growled at him as he stopped, he could hear her stomach grumbling.
"I guessed you're hungry after sleeping for two months, come on, I prepared rice and meat," Henry informed.
May mood seemed to brightened up as soon as she heard Henry mentioned meat. Henry walked downstairs hoping she'd follow him and thankfully, she did.
May sat at the dining table, while Henry served the meal. He gave her a big chunk of meat and she immediately rushed it, ripping the meat out of the bone.
_It's really frightening, is that how she's going to rip my flesh?_
Henry shook the thought out of his mind.
A girl that beautiful can't kill a human.
May finished the meat and smiled at him, she was really cute. Henry sat down to eat his meal but May kept staring at his food.
"you want some meat?" He asked even though it was obvious and she nodded happily. " I guessed you only eats meat, that means, more food for me"
That's how he kept living with a demon thinking it was okay.
_She only seems interested in meat, I mean cooked meat._

May has been staying with Henry for three months now, throughout that time she was always asleep. She woke up about two times a month and stay awake for a few hours before going back to sleep. Henry had taken it to be normal so he never disturbs her.
Henry was in the sitting room watching TV, well, more like staring at the screen when he heard a knock on the door. He rushed to the door wondering who might come to visit this early in the morning, as he opened the door only to see Emily and some men, who quickly forced their way into the house.
"what's the meaning of this? what's happening?" Henry asked in confusion. Emily explained everything to him.
According to her, he had been seen with a demon and they are here to dispatch it, take the house and force him to attend the academy.
