Music Recommendation: Wish I Was Better - Kina, yaeow.
....
The night was quiet when they arrived at Aurora's home.
Neither of them spoke as Tim parked the car in front of the simple apartment she had chosen to hide herself and Seraphina from the world.
Aurora stepped out first, quietly unlocking the door, while Tim followed behind, carrying Seraphina, who had long fallen asleep in his arms, and slept all through the ride.
The faint scent of lavender in the room in the house made him smile lightly. Just like how she made their room scent once upon a time.
It reminded him of the home they once shared.
Aurora didn't invite him in. But she didn't ask him to leave either. Tim took that as enough permission.
He gently placed Seraphina on her bed and covered her with a blanket before stepping out of the room.
In the dimly lit living room, Aurora was already seated on the couch, her laptop open on her lap as her fingers moved against the keyboard.
