Chapter 148 - Chaos King’s Vampire Villa Vibe and Kraven Kerfuffle

Selene, staring at Raja's dramatically "unconscious" form in the alley, checked his wrist, gasping as the cut from his demigod blood sealed itself, healing like a sci-fi flick.

But Raja's face was pale from blood loss, looking like a goth kid after a juice cleanse (method acting).

Panicked, she drove fast and scooped him up, racing to the vampire coven's mansion. The guards, seeing Selene with a human "pet," gawked, whispering, "I'm I dreaming did I saw Ice queen Selene getting herself a new toy!"

Inside her candlelit room, Selene laid Raja on her bed, peeling off her leather gear for a silk robe.

Raja, secretly peeking, nearly blew his cover at the sight but kept fake-snoring like a pro.

MAYA: "Master, you're Oscar-worthy for shamelessness."

Selene sat beside him, caressing his face with a tenderness that screamed centuries of longing, her soul buzzing as she mentally claimed him as hers.

Raja, eyes shut, puckered his lips like a cartoon prince awaiting a kiss.

Selene froze, stunned, then furious at his act, and SLAP!—her hand met his cheek.

Raja bolted upright, rubbing the sting, whining, "Why'd you hit me, Moon Goddess?"

Selene smirked, "Quit playing damsel and Sleeping Beauty. Answer my questions—truthfully."

Raja giggled like a kid caught stealing cookies, "Ask away, my moon goddess. I swear on BoB, it's all truth!"

Selene, charmed by his antics, grinned, "Who are you? Where'd you come from? How are you this strong?"

Raja, eyes twinkling, unleashed a tidal wave of glorious B.S.: "I'm Rudra D. Raja Kumara, last of the ancient, noble House of Rudra from India, a mystic hunter slaying vampires, Lycans, ghouls—any dark critter causing mortal mayhem. I keep the world's balance, like a cosmic janitor with a katana."

Selene, despite centuries of never hearing of "mystic hunters," bought it hook, line, and sinker—Raja's strength and soulmate vibes were too real.

She leaned closer, intrigued. Raja, seizing the moment, grinned, "Your turn, moon goddess. What's your name? Why does my heart do backflips near you?"

Selene softened, "I'm Selene, Death Dealer, Lycan hunter, adoptive daughter of Elder Viktor. Why're you in London? Where's Michael Corvin? Know why Lycans want him?"

Raja, doubling down on his B.S., spun a yarn: "My Indian sage mentor, a seer, glimpsed a future of vampire-Lycan chaos sparked by Michael Corvin. He sketched the guy, told me to save or snuff him. I saved him, shipped him off. You not knowing about Michael means Lycans want him for some shady experiment. Funny, my sage smirked when I left—didn't expect to meet a vampire goddess like you."

Selene processed the tale, her mind racing, when Raja gently lifted her hand to his chest, letting her feel his heartbeat. Their soulmate bond vibrated, and he leaned in, kissing her passionately. She melted, kissing back, lost in the moment.

The door burst open, and Erica, a bubbly vampire, gaped at Selene locking lips with her "pet." "So the rumors are true! You got an Indian pet—is he mate you talking about?" she squealed.

Selene, caught off-guard, flushed, stammering.

Raja, ever the drama queen, chirped, "Hi, I'm Raja, Selene's pet and personal blood bag! You're Erica, right? Selene says you're her only friend here—gorgeous, just like she described!"

Selene's jaw dropped—how did Raja know about Erica? Erica, stunned, beamed, "Selene called me her friend? What else did she say? And why aren't you freaking out about vampires?"

Raja, smirking, piled on the nonsense: "I'm a 21-year-old virgin, kidnapped by Selene. Scared at first, but she promised if I'm a good slave and donate blood, she'll handle my material and physical needs—and she sealed with that kiss you interrupted. She said you're awesome but your Kraven obsession holds you back. Quote: 'That weasel Kraven's not worthy of my friend Erica.'" Erica squealed, hugging Selene, who shot Raja a death glare, mind reeling—how did he know about Kraven?

Raja tapped his temple, signalling Telepathy-shared memories soul bonding, winking. Selene twitched, caught between fury and awe at his quick B.S.

Erica, calming down, remembered her mission, "Kraven wants you now, Selene."

Selene turned to Raja, stern, "Stay here, you misbehaving pet. Don't wander and cause chaos!"

Raja nodded like a scolded puppy, earning another eye-twitch from Selene as she left.

In Kraven's lavish office, he laid into her, furious at her insubordination, chasing Lycans against orders, and obsessing over "some guy."

Smirking, he sneered, "Infatuated with this Michael, aren't you?"

Selene, enraged, snapped, "That's ridiculous—I've never met him real life!"

Kraven pressed, "Then who's the pet in my mansion?"

Selene fired back, "It's Viktor's mansion, and my pet's my business, not yours!"

Kraven, livid at her defiance and jealous of her "pet," stormed toward her room, murder in his eyes.

Meanwhile, Raja, lounging with Erica, preached like a motivational guru, spinning tales of Indian warrior queens—fierce, independent women who'd never simp for a "prince on a white horse."

"Erica, you're a queen, not a damsel waiting for Kraven's sleazy ass. Be a badass, handle your own destiny!" Erica, starry-eyed, soaked it up, nodding fiercely.

Raja's ears pricked—angry footsteps. Kraven was coming, and Selene was in trouble. He leapt up, slipping into his black-and-gold Hunter gear, muscles flexing, making Erica blush. Fully suited, he posed by the window, ready for chaos.

Kraven blasted into the room, eyes blazing, only to find Raja grinning mockingly. "Selene, my love, remember the pendant!"

Raja called, then turned to Erica, "Lovely Erica, catch you later!"

Facing Kraven, he sneered, "Fuck you, bitch. Stop eyeing my girl, or I'll cut your balls off and feed 'em to you."

Kraven lunged, fangs bared, but Raja flipped him the middle finger, leapt out the window like an Assassin's Creed protagonist, complete with an imaginary eagle screech.

Selene, Erica, and Kraven rushed to the window, jaws dropping as Raja nailed a superhero landing, saluted with a smirk, and sprinted off, Naruto-style, vanishing into the night.
