After an intense and satisfying sparring session with his wives, Ye Wen felt thoroughly invigorated but soon slipped into a reflective, zen-like state.
"It's time to get serious. I can't keep indulging like this," Ye Wen silently reminded himself.
Though he had already achieved God King status and only needed diligent cultivation to eventually reach the peak of the God King realm over time, there were still four other God Kings in the god realm. Picking a fight now would be unwise.
Having understood the principles behind breaking through to God King status, Ye Wen decided to guide Bibi Dong and Qian Xue, hoping to help them achieve similar breakthroughs.
First up was Bibi Dong.
The name "Rakshasa God" didn't clearly indicate what this divine position represented.
However, both Bibi Dong and Ye Wen understood that the essence of the Rakshasa God was the deity of malice—encompassing all negative emotions of humans and sentient beings.
Bibi Dong's cultivation had always followed a systematic process: understanding these negative emotions, utilizing them, and finally mastering them, bringing her to her current peak as a first-tier god.
But when attempting to merge with the Dao for her breakthrough, Bibi Dong also felt as though she would vanish—an immune response that confirmed to Ye Wen that her cultivation path had veered off course, just as his once had. She hadn't grasped the true essence of the Malice God.
After much contemplation, Ye Wen realized that both Bibi Dong and his own issues likely stemmed from the same misunderstanding—their interpretation of "malice" was flawed.
Malice could also be understood as desire, an emotional shift arising from a sentient being's pursuit of something.
The concepts of good and evil were human-defined constructs, and Bibi Dong had been trapped within this framework.
"Dong, don't fixate solely on those so-called negative emotions. You need to incorporate all seven emotions and six desires of life into your comprehension. When you've fully integrated these desires into your understanding, that might be the moment you break through to the God King realm," Ye Wen said solemnly.
Upon hearing this, Bibi Dong found it reasonable.
The emotional definitions set by humans were indeed no longer applicable to her current state. She needed to break free from this mental constraint.
The essence of a Malice God wasn't purely about malice—it was about desire.
However, Bibi Dong's breakthrough wouldn't be as simple as Ye Wen's, which only required resolving a single mental block. She needed to understand far more, and it was unclear how long this period of seclusion would last.
Next, Ye Wen turned his attention to Qian Xue.
When it came to private life experimentation, Qian Xue was unmatched. Despite her outward appearance as a pure and holy angel, she alternated between sisterly teamwork and merging into one entity—a truly terrifying experience.
Qian Xue had already regained the peak strength of the previous Angel God.
Yet, despite further advancements in her angelic bloodline, she still couldn't confidently break through to the God King realm, as if something crucial was missing.
The divine position of the Angel God encompassed a variety of divine authority rules.
On the surface, these included light, fire, justice, judgment, and more.
Though her divine authorities were diverse, Qian Xue's combat strength ranked among the top in the god realm, making her situation somewhat contradictory.
Most gods focused their divine authority on a few specific areas, using them as breakthrough points for cultivation. Rarely did a divine position, like the Angel God's, contain such complex divine authority rules.
Yet, Qian Xue excelled in cultivating all these divine authority rules simultaneously, advancing them in parallel.
With Ye Wen's assistance, Qian Xue's Angel Holy Sword had evolved into a super divine artifact, granting her combat strength comparable to the lowest tier of God Kings. Though at the bottom of the God King spectrum, her power still placed her among the top ten strongest in the god realm—a terrifying feat.
While Qian Xue was proficient in all her divine authority rules, this also meant she couldn't pinpoint which rule to rely on for breaking through to the God King realm.
Currently, Qian Xue was deeply confused, her eyes filled with hopeful anticipation as she gazed at Ye Wen.
In her heart, Ye Wen was an omniscient figure who could surely resolve her doubts.
If Ye Wen knew what she thought of him, he would have waved his hand dismissively and said, "You think too highly of me. I just know a bit more than others."
Ye Wen was well aware that some divine cores contained multiple rules.
A prime example was the Dragon God.
As the possessor of a creation divine core, the Dragon God's divine essence contained at least two rules: creation and destruction.
After being split in two by the Asura God, these rules formed the Golden Dragon King, representing destruction, and the Silver Dragon King, representing creation.
Similarly, the Asura God also possessed a multi-rule divine core.
From Dao Ba, Ye Wen learned that the Asura God's divine core contained the rules of slaughter and judgment.
Though all divine cores were divine, why did they vary in rank?
This was because each divine core bore the former owner's insights into their realm, allowing successors to follow a clear path to reach the predecessor's level.
Thus, as long as Dao Ba diligently cultivated, he would essentially become the next Asura God King.
The Asura God's breakthrough method involved merging the two rules into one, forming the rule of "judgment through slaughter."
To put it vividly, this rule symbolized the Asura God as an autocratic tyrant. Violating his rules would trigger a surge in his power, enabling him to mercilessly annihilate his opponent.
This could be glimpsed from Tang San's Asura Domain, which showcased elements of this principle.
Drawing inspiration from this example, Ye Wen began contemplating how Qian Xue could break through to the God King realm.
However, Qian Xue's divine authority rules were far more numerous than the Asura God's. Finding a common thread to connect these rules proved challenging.
As Ye Wen pondered deeply, a sudden flash of insight struck him—he thought of the origin of Qian Xue's Angel martial soul.
"Qian Xue, do you know the origin of the Angel martial soul?"
Caught off guard by Ye Wen's question, Qian Xue hesitated. Though she possessed all the memories of the previous Angel God, the origin of the Angel martial soul remained a mystery to her.
The unique cultivation system of martial souls had only emerged after the god realm reformed Douluo Star.
The original Angel God had risen from humble beginnings, relying on sheer willpower to overcome countless obstacles. Upon reaching the Super Douluo realm, she attained enlightenment and named her martial soul the "Angel Martial Soul," believing herself chosen by heaven to bring peace to humanity.
Even after ascending to godhood, the Angel God never discovered the true origin of her martial soul. She simply continued to believe she was heaven's chosen emissary of peace.
Otherwise, why, among billions of humans, was she the only one to achieve godhood in her era? This was proof enough.
Thanks to Ye Wen's influence, Qian Xue now understood the truth behind Douluo Star's martial souls and no longer blindly believed she was heaven's chosen messenger.
Thankfully, she hadn't voiced her past misguided thoughts aloud; otherwise, she might have suffered severe social embarrassment at home.
