As three first-tier gods returning to the god realm, the number of people Ye Wen could bring along naturally wasn't limited to just this group.

Among Ye Wen's six children, only Ye Tianchen was married—to Ye Lingling and Ning Rongrong. However, it was difficult for powerful individuals to produce offspring, so the three of them had no children yet.

Ye Wen had originally hoped to become a grandfather, but alas—it was not to be.

As for why he didn't bring more people, Ye Wen naturally had his own considerations.

Though Bibi Dong, as the empress, had left the Douluo Continent, her departure wouldn't cause chaos in the power structure.

After all, she hadn't died—she had ascended to godhood!

She would continue to watch over the mortal realm from the god realm.

Moreover, Ye Wen and the others' final reform on the Douluo Continent was the establishment of the Holy Spirit Council.

Led by Ye Wen, the council consisted of three first-tier gods who left behind divine consciousness within statues permanently stationed in the Holy Spirit Imperial City. During critical decisions, their divine consciousness would emerge to make the final ruling.

The remaining council members were selected based on strength and social status. Ordinary civil matters were handled by these councilors, while decisions affecting the entire continent were overseen by the divine consciousness left behind by Ye Wen and the others.

If any councilor harbored malicious intent, the merfolk under Ye Wen's command would step in to punish them personally, ensuring the integrity of the nation's system.

The people of Douluo were overjoyed with this system. Their long-awaited Eternal King had finally arrived—a godly ruler who was eternally rational and immortal.

God Realm—

As a flash of white light faded, Ye Wen felt the sensation of solid ground beneath his feet.

Below him was an enormous magic array, surrounded by opulent structures built from what appeared to be marble-like stone.

A bearded, slightly aged Poseidon greeted Ye Wen with a grin.

"Welcome—"

Before Poseidon could finish his greeting, Ye Wen stepped forward and delivered a punch that made Poseidon's eyes bulge out.

Poseidon attempted to defend against further attacks, but Ye Wen stopped.

Standing calmly in place, Ye Wen said, "That punch was on behalf of my three wives. Of course, if you're not satisfied, we can continue."

Poseidon knew he had done some questionable things, but most gods in the god realm weren't exactly saints.

He muttered a few words and rubbed his aching stomach.

"Really, you've benefited from my help and still act ungrateful. Fine, fine. As an elder, I won't hold it against you. I'm off to explore the depths of the universe."

With that, Poseidon pulled out a scroll and tossed it to Ye Wen.

"This is a guide to the god realm I've compiled. Take a look when you have time. There's not much to do in this desolate place anyway, so just relax. Remember, in the god realm, strength is everything.

Don't spend all your energy on your wives, alright?"

Poseidon's face twisted into a lecherous grin, making Ye Wen want to beat him up again.

But before Ye Wen could act, Poseidon turned and flew off into the depths of the universe.

"See ya~"

Having received Poseidon's favor, Ye Wen watched him leave with a wry smile and offered a blessing.

"Safe travels."

Turning to his family behind him, Ye Wen said, "Let's go. To our new home."

In the eyes of mortals, the god realm was mysterious, sacred, and unreachable. But upon arriving, one would realize it was situated in the vast void of the cosmos, with very few places to set foot.

However, the drifting clouds of faith energy surrounding the area made Ye Wen marvel at the god realm's immense wealth.

According to the guide Poseidon provided, these clouds of faith energy couldn't be tampered with—they were one of the cornerstones maintaining the existence of the god realm.

No wonder, despite the abundance of divine energy around, the Asura God hadn't been able to endlessly cultivate Tang San.

Another cornerstone of the god realm was the central Pantheon, also known as the Divine Council.

Surrounding it were the exclusive temples of various gods.

However, the positions of these temples were random, with no particular arrangement, giving the area a rather scattered feel.

Ye Wen couldn't help but mutter to himself, "It's such a waste not to set up a large-scale defensive or offensive formation here. Perhaps these gods have grown complacent after so long without enemies."

Ye Wen vaguely remembered that in Douluo III, the reason the god realm had lost contact was due to poor defenses, getting caught in a temporal vortex. In the end, it was only through the sacrifice of the Life and Destruction God Kings that the god realm's existence was barely maintained—but the two God Kings had fallen into slumber as a result.

So, as the saying goes, "If you don't burn incense in peace, you'll suffer greatly in times of crisis."

Still, the lack of restrictions wasn't entirely bad. The temples of Ye Wen's three first-tier gods could be placed close together, avoiding the inconvenience of being spread far apart.

The commotion caused by Ye Wen and his group drew the attention of the idle gods.

However, the immortal and unaging gods showed little interest in such matters.

The four God Kings, however, turned their attention toward them.

The Destruction God King spoke, "Has the second-generation Sea God finally arrived? It seems Poseidon has already left. I hope he properly explained things; it would be troublesome if there were any mishaps."

His wife, the Life God King, gently reassured him, "Don't worry. Though Poseidon may seem frivolous, he's quite serious when it comes to important matters.

Let's wait until they've settled in before summoning them."

"Mm," the Good and Evil God Kings agreed without objection.

Soon, at the summons of the God Kings, Ye Wen, Bibi Dong, and Qian Xue arrived at the Divine Council, where the God Kings conducted their affairs.

"Greetings, esteemed God Kings," Ye Wen said respectfully.

The God Kings had a favorable impression of Ye Wen.

During the time Ye Wen had improved the Douluo Continent, they had observed his arrangements. He was undoubtedly a talented administrator, and his current strength was commendable, having reached the initial stage of a first-tier god.

The leader, the Destruction God King, spoke first.

"You've done well, Sea God. We've seen all that you've accomplished on Douluo Star. Your two wives have done well too."

Ye Wen gave a slight bow. "You flatter me, Lord."

After some polite exchanges, the Destruction God King concluded,

"Sea God Ye Wen, after unanimous recognition from the Divine Council and the gods of the god realm, you will succeed the Asura God as one of the three Law Enforcers of the god realm, wielding the authority to uphold divine law. We hope you will contribute to the stability of the god realm in the future."

Ye Wen hadn't expected to receive such a significant responsibility right away—it came with considerable room for maneuvering.

He inwardly criticized Poseidon for being unreliable, failing to mention something this important.

Outwardly, however, Ye Wen accepted the responsibility with composure.

With this new position, his future plans would become even more convenient.
