As the strongest power in this corner of the universe, the god realm had no external enemies and thus little desire for development.

Compared to the slow progress of feudal dynasties on the Douluo Continent, the god realm was even more dull and uneventful.

Moreover, due to the unique nature of divine positions, gods in the god realm generally couldn't leave the confines of this particular universe.

These overlapping factors led to a situation where most gods were either extremely lazy or became troublemakers for their own amusement.

Having just arrived and settled in, Ye Wen took Bibi Dong and Qian Xue with him to visit various gods.

After all, being unfamiliar with the place, Ye Wen needed to thoroughly understand the god realm to proceed with his future plans. He couldn't afford to neglect exploring every corner of it.

Ye Wen's primary visits were to the first-tier gods and the remaining second-tier gods of the god realm.

As for third-tier gods, they existed but were far fewer in number compared to the first- and second-tier gods.

After all, anyone who could ascend to godhood was a chosen one in their respective planes. Before reaching the second-tier level, it was purely a matter of accumulating divine energy—similar to the initial cultivation phase of soul masters. As long as one diligently trained and wasn't a complete waste, breaking through to the second-tier level was relatively easy, especially with guidance from senior gods.

Any god still stuck at the third-tier level at this point would be too embarrassed to show their face and would instead remain in seclusion, striving to break through.

After a round of visits, the gods treated Ye Wen with great respect, as he was now one of the three highest-ranking Law Enforcers in the god realm.

Perhaps because the god realm hadn't seen fresh blood in a long time, these gods were quite friendly toward Ye Wen.

Outwardly, Ye Wen smiled and exchanged pleasantries, but inwardly, he held nothing but disdain for the current state of the god realm.

"A bunch of complacent slackers. It's been so long since the Dragon God's era, yet there are still only five God Kings in the god realm.

It's only because the star system under the god realm is barren and lacks other powerful forces. If stronger beings from outside invaded, what would you do to resist them?"

Soon, Ye Wen began assessing his own resources.

The resources of the Douluo Continent were incomparable to those of the god realm. Even though Poseidon had been generous, he hadn't handed over everything to Ye Wen. As a result, Ye Wen, as a first-tier god, was currently dirt poor.

During his visits to other gods, Ye Wen learned that some gods from the Dragon God era still possessed fragments of divine cores belonging to the ancient divine beasts—a discovery that aligned with his earlier suspicions. This explained how Ma Hongjun had obtained the Phoenix God position.

However, Ye Wen was currently penniless and couldn't afford to negotiate with these ancient gods openly. For now, he could only plot quietly in secret.

After a full round of visits, Ye Wen also gained a basic understanding of the various factions within the god realm.

There were three main groups:

First were the gods aligned with the two pairs of God King couples. The rest consisted of ancient and powerful first-tier gods who remained neutral, observing from the sidelines.

Originally, Qian Xue's Angel God position should have belonged to the Good and Evil faction, while Bibi Dong's Rakshasa God position fell under the Life and Destruction faction.

But now that the three of them were married, they no longer needed to adhere to the alignments of the previous generation of gods. With Ye Wen's current status as a Law Enforcer rivaling the four God Kings, he was qualified to establish himself as the fourth major faction in the god realm.

That said, most gods in the god realm were lazy and indifferent, with few disputes worth fighting over. Forming alliances held little significance unless a divine war broke out.

After a series of visits, Ye Wen identified his targets and spent the following period building rapport with a pair of second-tier god spouses.

This couple was none other than the Nine-Colored Goddess and the Food God.

Their ascension to godhood was rather legendary—they had been revered by the people of their plane for their kindness and charitable acts, eventually becoming gods through faith.

Though neither was particularly strong in combat, their divine positions granted them excellent supportive abilities. Though they were part of the neutral faction, they managed to maintain good relations with everyone.

These two gods were fortunate to have encountered Ye Wen. Without his intervention, they would have been coerced by the Asura God, stripped of their divine positions, and forced to flee into the depths of the universe.

After all, one of the most important rules of the god realm was that gods couldn't interfere arbitrarily with the affairs of the mortal realm.

In the original storyline, Tang San had been utterly defeated by Bibi Dong and the others. Later, the Asura God "invited" these two gods to assist Ning Rongrong and Oscar in reviving Tang San behind the scenes.

But could two Title Douluo really revive a god? It was practically impossible—the energy gap between the two sides was simply too vast, akin to trying to power a spaceship with ordinary fuel—it was scientifically implausible.

After achieving his goal, the Asura God, being a God King, simply left without a second thought. However, the two supportive gods, having lost their divine positions, had no choice but to wander into the depths of the universe to avoid being imprisoned by the god realm's rules.

When the other God Kings learned of such selfish actions, it was no wonder they harbored ill feelings toward Tang San.

Moreover, the impact of the Asura God's actions went beyond this incident. The gods were once human beings who had evolved, and naturally, they didn't want to be bullied by the strong. Such events indirectly widened the rifts between the gods, causing instability in the order of the god realm.

While the Asura God simply walked away, Tang San became the target of resentment among the gods, which explained why he later treaded so cautiously.

As for Ye Wen approaching these two gods, it wasn't just because of their divine positions—he coveted their roles as well.

Anyone who had participated in group battles knew the importance of support roles.

As rare supportive gods, it would be strange if Ye Wen didn't have designs on them.

Under Ye Wen's subtle probing, the two gods indeed expressed an interest in passing down their divine positions.

After all, no matter how pleasant the god realm might seem, staying here for too long would inevitably become monotonous.

However, since both were non-combatant support gods, they remained indecisive.

It made sense—if this universe had interesting places to explore, doing so without adequate strength would be risky. What if they encountered cosmic bandits or something similar? Two support-focused healers would surely end up in a miserable state.

After much deliberation, Ye Wen decided to offer these two senior gods a set of specialized combat gear for healers as a condition for inheriting their divine positions.

With years of technical expertise and the core craftsmanship he had extracted from the Asura Demon Sword, Ye Wen might not have been able to create something as extravagant as a super divine artifact, but equipping these two healers with at least the combat capabilities of a first-tier god was well within his reach.

After about a year in the god realm, Ye Wen finally completed crafting a set of first-tier divine armors for the Nine-Colored Goddess and the Food God after extensive research.

The names of the previous generations of Douluo battle armors were too long and cumbersome for Ye Wen's liking. Upon reaching the divine level, he adopted a new standard.

Though battle armors for mortals could increase their ranks by 20 levels, the god realm version could only boost their ranks by a maximum of 10 levels. After all, the gap between each tier of gods was immense.
