Chapter 61 - The Disappointment of Sharon and Nathan Showing Kindness

At the sound of that voice, Sharon's expression instantly shifted.

"Father asked me to come? For what?" She asked with a frown.

Arthur, who had expected this reaction, merely smiled without saying a word.

"Of course, it's about the awakening of your attribute, Princess," he replied casually, picking up a piece of shrimp and placing it on her plate. "Now that you've awakened the golden light attribute—the rarest in the world—it's only natural he would seek you out and try to win your favor. After all, you're a highly valuable asset to the Valdom Magic Kingdom."

Sharon immediately understood what he meant, and a wry smile curved her lips.

"So he's looking for me just because of that, huh?"

She stabbed the shrimp with her fork and popped it into her mouth, her gaze dropping to her plate as if to hide the sadness in her eyes.

Since childhood, her father had never shown her even a trace of affection or care. All she ever received was coldness, indifference, and neglect.
