Chapter 153 - Julius?

Riven stepped out into the cool, dimly lit corridor. He remembered the previous day's events well, and he hoped not to talk about it.

Eli stood quietly by the door, offering him a small, supportive smile. Without exchanging any more words, Riven gestured forward, and the two began to walk side by side, their steps slow and measured.

Despite his usual energy, Eli noticeably slowed his pace to match Riven's, clearly mindful of his injury. Riven appreciated it silently. The halls were empty at this hour, they had a little time before the servants woke up. 

The soft tap of their footsteps echoed, filling the heavy silence between them.

For a few moments, neither spoke. Riven found comfort in Eli's quiet presence, grateful for the space to gather his thoughts. He was expecting Eli to reprimand him for being careless. Although he did not share his plans with the bunny, Eli knew Riven's situation and how he would act.

Eli glanced sideways at him, his expression hesitant.
