There was always this one person who keeps on coming into my dreams sometimes at night. I could not comprehend why I was dreaming about that person, but it seems like it was something important to me that I've forgotten long ago. Everytime I dreamt about that person it would only show a single scenario. They were crying on the ground as if they were begging me to stay but there was nothing I can do but to only watch and listen, feeling emotions that are not mine.
Chirp. Chirp.
[6:27 A.M. April 04 Monday]
Spring has come. The pinkish color of the wind blows against my curtains. Birds flying and chirping across the old tree beside my window as if they were singing to welcome the morning sun. The weather was still a bit warm considering it's already the first week of April, and what I mean about the first week of April, it's the goddang starting of the new semester of school.
The sunlight gently reflects against my face, casting a soft glow that brushes against my skin, stirring me awake.
"Ugh.." I let out a groan as I grab a pillow, blocking the sunlight from my face.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
[6:30 A.M.]
The loud buzz of the alarm echoed throughout my room. I once again let out another frustrated groan and lazily reaching out towards the alarm clock and slamming my hands on it to stop.
"Darn it." I mumbled, rubbing my face.
I shouldn't have stayed up to play games till the crack of dawn, but that new update was seriously addicting! It's a crime for them to update a seriously addictive game a day before starting of class! nevertheless it was still worth it since I got a new skin and weapon for all that grinding last night!
I let out a groggy yawn followed with a heavy sigh, and dragged myself out of the bed and walked towards the bathroom while scratching my back.
Standing in the bathroom, eyes still half-lidded, I stared blankly at the mirror barely recognizing the disheveled reflection staring back at me. Dark circles underneath my eyes, Messy hair and a chapped lips.
"I've really out did it this time."
I let out a sigh.
A few minutes later and I've already finished washing up and changing onto my new uniform. There wasn't much any difference between the middle school uniform and the high school uniform in our academy, and as usual the uniform seems too extravagant compared to others.
For boys, It has a black button-up long sleeve, a dark grey blazer or a vest that has a school logo and a name plate on the right side, a red necktie, black trousers and black shoes. For girls is pretty much the same expect for the dark grey high waist plated skirt, a dark grey blazer or vest, black high socks or stockings and black shoes. The uniform is provided in by enrollment and is just the perfect size for each students.
Wearing either a vest or a blazer isn't a problem in the academy if you are wearing it properly, normally I would choose to wear a blazer however since it is still warm outside I decided to wear a vest though it might not make any difference.
After finishing getting ready, I grabbed my bag and head downstairs for some toast and jam. This is my everyday breakfast since I don't particularly cook because I might really burn my house down this time. I usually order my food through deliveries or just eat outside. It's pretty convenient for those people like me who lives alone.
The distance between the academy and my house is pretty near since it's just a 10 minutes walk and it's a non-morning person's happiness since it'll give you more time to sleep since the school's already near! and plus even if I forgot to eat breakfast I can still buy one from the convenience store nearby so I have the perfect time to leasurely eat my breakfast on my way to school.
Ting.
Ting.
A notification rang from my phone.
[Victim Sized Gremlin : Wher yo ass at?]
[Victim Sized Gremlin : Faster!!!]
I let out a scoff.
"This little gremlin." I said sarcastically while typing.
[Aviel No. 1 Servant : Piss off.]
Just in time I finished eating my toast I already arrived at the academy.
Lucian Étoile Academy.
A place where no ordinary people can just enter. It is one of the prestigious school in the country, full of pride because most of the successful people studied here. Starting from the rich of the rich, athletes, geniuses and talents. This academy has it all, and it is also what my great-great grandfather built many years ago.
"Now look who's here?" A voice spoke from a distance.
"Looks like I have to deal with your face this year again, huh?" She spoke jokingly.
"That's supposed to be my line, Aviel." I replied.
Aviel Lin. She's one of my childhood playmates in the past, she became my playmate because my father and her father were business partners back in the day. She's a half chinese but doesn't look very chinese.
"What took you so long? I've been here for an hour now."
"What kind of shit did you eat to go to school early?" I spoke shocked.
"People change y'know" She replied with that usual main character moment of hers.
"I know, but you're not counted as a person." I said bluntly.
She then proceeds to roundhouse kick me in my ass.
"Taekwondo ain't supposed to be used in violence, I'm gonna tell master about this!"
I shouted.
Just when we were about to enter into another series of our usual bickering when someone came to stop us.
"It's too early in the morning for you guys too cause a scene, you attention seekers."
