Seeing Killer Bee swimming desperately, Kisame chuckled.
The shark-like mouth that was about to tear Kinjin apart suddenly twisted back in a sharp turn and bit directly into Killer Bee.
"Yo!!! This octopus-flavored chakra is delicious! So rich, so fragrant!"
Killer Bee struggled wildly, but in just a few seconds, a large amount of his chakra was absorbed. His Version 2 form collapsed instantly, reverting him back to his base state.
"I ain't lettin' you snack on my chakra for free, you bastard!" Killer Bee growled.
Killer Bee's body transformed partially into his tailed beast form, sprouting several octopus tentacles. He wrapped them tightly around Kisame's neck and began to drag him in the opposite direction with all his strength.
Kisame's movement was restricted, but instead of panicking, he admired Killer Bee's resilience.
"Heh, impressive. You really live up to the title of the Perfect Jinchūriki, able to partially transform even in this state."
Meanwhile, Kinjin and Ponta finally escaped from the massive water prison.
"Yoshi! We're out!" Killer Bee exclaimed with relief.
Seeing that Kinjin and Ponta were safe, Killer Bee immediately reached for his blades, but the extended battle in water had nearly drained him of chakra.
Kisame smirked. "It looks painful, doesn't it? Your plan wasn't bad, but you forgot one thing—contact with my body means I keep absorbing your chakra. The more you fight, the weaker you get."
Feeling his energy fading rapidly, Killer Bee's grip on Kisame loosened, giving the shark-like man a chance to break free.
"Heh, looks like this fight is wrapping up. Samehada is practically quivering with excitement—seems it's found its favorite chakra."
Kisame swam back, observing Bee's condition with a predator's eye.
"In Akatsuki, no one captures Jinchūriki better than me. Slowly whittling you down to the brink of death, controlling every moment like a real hunt... It's almost a work of art."
Killer Bee glanced at Kisame, his mind racing.
"Gotta try the tentacle snare again... if I wait for the right moment, I can—"
"No!" Gyūki's voice echoed in his mind. "You have no chance of winning underwater. That trick worked once; he won't fall for it again. Right now, your best option is to escape! Use that move."
Killer Bee immediately formed a seal and spat out a thick cloud of ink, obscuring everything around him.
Kisame scoffed. "Oh? Ink escape? Clever. Too bad it won't work on me."
His gills flared wide open, allowing him to sense chakra through the water.
"Since merging with Samehada, my entire body feels chakra. You can't hide, fool."
With a swift movement, Kisame darted through the ink cloud, homing in on Killer Bee and slashing at him repeatedly. Each strike drained more chakra from the exhausted Jinchūriki.
"Your chakra's running out, you damn octopus!"
As Killer Bee's strength waned, Kisame finally dispelled the Water Prison Shark Dance Technique, causing the massive sphere of water to collapse. Killer Bee tumbled onto the ground, coughing and gasping for air. His body was limp, barely able to move.
Kisame stood over him triumphantly. "So this is the mighty Eight-Tails? I expected more."
Samehada detached from Kisame and slithered toward Killer Bee eagerly.
Kisame grabbed the hilt. "Can't have you regenerating and transforming again. Just to be safe, let's take those legs off, shall we?"
He crouched down, gripping Samehada tightly, preparing to sever Killer Bee's legs.
"That won't be necessary, Kisame."
A new voice rang out. Kisame's eyes widened in shock.
"Naruto?!"
The figure standing before him had spiky blond hair, but the most shocking part—the Rinnegan glowed ominously in his eyes.
Kisame was stunned. "What the hell?! Why is he here? And how did he get so close without me noticing?"
Naruto was dressed in Akatsuki-style robes, though his had different colors. He squatted near Killer Bee, casually observing the scene.
Before Kisame could react, Naruto raised his hand.
"Shinra Tensei!"
A powerful repulsive force exploded outward, launching Kisame like a ragdoll. He crashed through a massive tree before skidding to a stop, dazed and winded.
"That power… this is the Rinnegan?! Unbelievable!"
Naruto turned to Killer Bee with a warm smile. "Uncle Bee, long time no see."
Killer Bee groggily opened his eyes, barely able to register Naruto's presence. He could see the Konoha forehead protector, but the sight of the Rinnegan unsettled him.
"What's this kid doing with the Six Paths' eyes…?" Gyūki murmured in shock.
As if hearing the beast's thoughts, Naruto chuckled. "Gyūki, you're here too? It's been a while."
Gyūki's eyes widened. "Wait… how does he know my name?!"
Naruto crouched down and placed a hand on Killer Bee's shoulder. With a sudden shift, his body glowed as he entered his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.
"Let's get you back in the fight, Uncle Bee."
Killer Bee felt a surge of energy rush through him. Naruto extended a fist, and Bee instinctively met it with his own in a fist bump.
In that instant, their chakras resonated.
Gyūki was stunned. "This… this is just like the link between Jinchūriki and their Tailed Beasts! How does he know how to do this?!"
Still too weak to speak much, Killer Bee simply nodded, acknowledging Naruto's presence and power.
Naruto grinned, speaking directly into his mind.
"Gyūki, long time no see."
