High in the sky, Naruto spread his arms wide, his body emanating a blinding white light that illuminated the entire battlefield.
The intensity of the glow forced those below to shield their eyes and squint as they tried to make sense of the situation.
Jiraiya and Tsunade stood in shock, their mouths slightly open as they gazed at Naruto in midair.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
On the ground, an expanding repulsive force erupted outward in a perfect sphere, pushing everything in its path away with overwhelming power.
Trees were uprooted and sent flying, the dense forest below rapidly transforming into barren land.
Looking down from above, it was clear that the destruction was spreading in an ever-growing radius, carving out a vast, empty circle in the midst of the wilderness.
Gaara was the first to react, his sharp instincts kicking in. "No! Everyone, get to me quickly!"
Without hesitation, Gaara's sand surged forth, enveloping his allies and pulling them toward him.
The golden grains swiftly formed an enormous, impenetrable sphere around them.
The repulsive wave crashed against Gaara's Sand Shield, causing the outer layers to crack under the immense pressure.
Gaara clenched his teeth, forming hand seals as he struggled to maintain the barrier.
Sweat dripped from his brow. "Damn it… this force is too strong."
Temari's voice was laced with concern. "Gaara, are you okay?"
Kankurō, eyes wide with fear, stared at the cracking sand. "I've never seen anything like this before."
Seeing the struggle, Tsunade immediately pressed her hands against Gaara's back, her chakra flowing into him. "Kazekage, focus on defense! I'll provide chakra support!"
Ōnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, floated toward the barrier and placed his hands on it. "Earth Style: Super-Weighted Boulder Jutsu!"
The sand instantly grew denser under the increased weight, reinforcing its durability.
Mei Terumī, the Fifth Mizukage, joined in, forming hand seals. "Lava Style: Quicklime Jutsu!"
From her lips, a thick, viscous substance sprayed over the sand, hardening upon contact and strengthening the defense even further.
Gaara felt the change immediately. With Tsunade's chakra, Ōnoki's weight increase, and Mei's hardened coating, the barrier had reached its peak strength.
With a defiant roar, he poured all his power into the sand, reinforcing it to its absolute limit.
Rumble!
After what felt like an eternity, the external shockwave dissipated. Sensing that the force had vanished, Gaara released the seals and exhaled sharply.
The sand sphere collapsed, the hardened layers breaking apart and falling in every direction.
Slowly, the shinobi emerged, their eyes widening in disbelief at the sight before them.
Tsunade's breath hitched. "This is…?"
Temari's expression was one of pure shock. "How is this even possible?"
Darui's face darkened. "This level of destruction… it's on par with Lord B's Tailed Beast Bomb."
Ōnoki floated higher to get a better view, his aged eyes scanning the devastation.
The once-thriving forest was gone. Over ten miles of land had been completely wiped out, reduced to a barren wasteland.
At the epicenter of the destruction lay a massive crater, spanning at least five to six miles in diameter and plunging nearly ten meters deep.
Mei wiped a bit of quicklime from the corner of her lips and muttered, "Good thing this was an uninhabited area. If this had happened in a village…"
A heavy silence settled over the Kage as they processed the implications. Tsunade and A turned grim, understanding the sheer scale of Naruto's destructive potential.
Ōnoki's thoughts drifted back to the last thing Naruto had said to him: You won't give it to me, so I'll just take it.
Looking at the crater, he clenched his fists. "This brat… He's like a damn walking calamity. He's exactly like Madara… Always forcing people's hands through sheer power."
Jiraiya's gaze flickered between the crater and the sky. Naruto was gone.
A turned to C. "Find him. Now."
C formed a seal and closed his eyes, focusing his sensory abilities. Moments later, he frowned. "Lord Raikage… Naruto's chakra has disappeared. But I memorized his chakra signature. If he appears again, I'll locate him immediately."
A exhaled sharply through his nose. "Tch."
Darui spoke up. "Given his power, the chance of Akatsuki capturing him is low. Even Madara might not be able to handle him. Right now, finding Lord B should be our top priority."
C nodded. "I agree, Lord Raikage."
A's jaw tightened before he gave a firm nod. "Fine. Compared to Naruto, finding my idiot brother is more urgent."
He then shot a glance at Tsunade, his voice dripping with condescension. "Hokage, watch closely. I'll show you how we handle our Jinchūriki in the Cloud. One word from me, and my brother won't even dare to breathe the wrong way!"
His gaze shifted to Jiraiya. "And you—Naruto's supposed master. What a joke. Your words mean nothing to him. And I heard that another of your students, Pain, wiped the floor with you. That true?"
Jiraiya rolled his eyes. If you can't speak properly, just shut up. Keep running your mouth, and I'll call Naruto back to slap you through a mountain.
Seeing Jiraiya's expression, A scoffed. "Under my rule, we don't have idiotic traitors. Not a single one."
Ōnoki decided to break the tension. "Enough. The alliance is more important right now. Our first mission is to find the Eight-Tails. Any objections?"
The Kage exchanged glances before nodding in agreement.
Ōnoki continued, "Then, let's all return to our villages and mobilize."
Just as the Kage were about to leave, a voice rang out.
"Oi, are you kidding me? You formed an alliance just to hunt down Sasuke? Was all of this really necessary?"
Mifune, leading the samurai, had finally arrived. Seeing the absurdly large crater, he was visibly annoyed.
Damn shinobi. If this were in my country, I'd be the one dealing with this mess! Good thing I was smart enough to stay back and let you all handle your own disasters.
A snorted. "If you have complaints, take them up with the Hokage. I'm done here. C, Darui, let's move! We're finding B."
C bowed. "Yes, Lord Raikage."
Darui sighed. "Yeah, yeah. Let's go, boss."
