Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 (VERY MATURE CONTENT)

The hallway was silent.

So was he.

It had been days.

Days of silence, of stolen glances, of words unsaid between gritted teeth and trembling lips.

And mow I asked him to take me somewhere private, and he didn't speak, just grabbed my wrist, led me down the hall, and dragged me into his room.

Now he stood there, right by the door, not moving.

Judr watching me.

Like I was something he couldn't get too close to, or else he'd burn.

"Are you going to say something?"

I asked, my arms crossed over my chest like I could hold myself together.

He took a breath. Rough. Controlled.

"I'm barely holding it together, Foxy."

My throat tightened.

He stepped closer. Not touching. Just close enough that I could feel him, all heat and storm and gravity.

"Every minute I don't reach for you feels like I'm bleeding."

He said, hiscvoice low and gutted.

"Do you have any idea what that's like?"

My lips parted, then close them again.

I couldn't speak.
