A flash of cold light. The spider's sharp front legs stabbed downward, leaving two massive holes in the stone floor below.
The Greedy Snake deftly twisted its body to evade the attack. Its robust tail swung heavily at the monkey-faced spider's face, catching the creature by surprise.
Outside the battlefield, the students of Beast Breeding High School watched the scene with unperturbed expressions, showing no signs of cheering for the giant python's blow.
No one, except for one tall and muscular student mimicking the gestures of a cheerleader.
