Why was Masaki looking towards me? I should be completely hidden… unless he is detecting the same energy from me? Would that be a thing we can do?
Mae hid herself better by lying on the floor and not making any noise. Violet and I did not move, not wanting to move or do something by accident. Our bodies were still fused with he shadows inside of the house, we should be impossible to see.
"M-Masaki?" Asked the girl with pink hair, her voice was shaky. "S-something's wrong?"
"N-no… It's nothing," he said, yet his sight was still on us, trying to find us in the darkness. "
From his perspective, he should have seen an empty house. He was too close for comfort, and even being hidden by a skill, I thought he was going to catch us if we made the simplest of movements. We all held our breaths, even when they were not that close to hear it.
"Lhana, stay here and guard the carriage," Ordered Masaki. "We will go check the bodies and see what we can find"
