Chapter 110 - First skirmish, and a turtle is freed.

The being fell down, arms spread wide, its skin made out of an infinite abyss filled with stars, three eyes glowing with a bright golden light.

A second before it could impact the ground, it stopped abruptly, hovering just above the grass.

RELINQUISH YOUR OBSESSION

It was not a voice, a voice implied sound, but this being's words resonated with her very soul, there were no misunderstandings here, she knew exactly what he wanted her to do.

She refused.

Kaguya was silent, but this time for reasons different than her normal stoic nature.

She had thought that her and her Clan were the only ones that could reach this level of existence, but it seemed she had been mistaken.

She had never reached the level that the legends of the Ōtsutsuki described, Shibai and his Shinjutsu came to mind, after his ascension few had managed to use Shinjutsu, and none had come close to his sheer number of abilities.

And this being... it radiated divinity, pure and simple.

So much that with her limited experience with it, she could still feel it.

Without any Chakra.

Was that really possible? To achieve true Divinity without the God Tree? Without stripping away everything that lived from a planet, time and time again?

"Who are you?" She asked warily. "How did you ascend to Divinity."

I AM THE WATCHER BEHIND THE STARS

MAKE YOUR CHOICE

It did not answer her questions, she was smart enough to realize that this was the one behind the human puppet she had killed.

And for the first time since her sons had objected to her plans, she considered backing down.

She did not know how strong this being was, she was not at full strength, not fighting here was the correct choice, if only to figure out what exactly she was dealing with.

But... this was her world.

The thought of leaving this world to the thieves disgusted her.

A planet filled with those that stole from her, taking what she was owed by birthright.

She raised her hand and gathered her Chakra.

'Eighty Gods Vacuum Fists'

A dozen giant fists flew forward, each one twice as tall as a person, aimed directly at the floating being in front of her.

They never reached him.

He vanished before they could make contact, appearing right behind her, his leg already flying towards her.

She managed to raise her arms to block the attack, the impact sent her flying through the air.

She stabilized herself mid-air, a look of complete focus on her face as she took stock of the situation.

'Teleportation.'

He teleported again, reappearing above her, this time a fist came rushing down towards her head.

Kaguya responded by forming a Truth-Seeking Orb, forming it in front of the attack, blocking the punch.

But the shockwave still forced her to the ground, kicking up dust as she landed in the forest below.

Immediately, she sunk into the ground, the earth rose with her, forming a giant hand made out of dirt and rock that attempted to grab him.

And he vanished again.

This was annoying, how was she supposed to fight an enemy she couldn't even get close to?

The moment he reappeared, she tried to use a Genjutsu on him, but it failed, like her power had been completely ineffective.

This time she did not bother blocking his attack, using her own teleportation to vanish before it could hit.

'Yomotsu Hirasaka.'

She vanished into a square rift, before appearing behind him once again, swinging her bone blade at his massive neck.

But the strike was blocked by a spear that had appeared in his hands, their eyes met for a few seconds, golden against white and red.

'Amenominaka'

The world surrounding them vanished, being replaced by an endless plain composed of small green pyramids.

The Watcher's body smashed into the ground, the increased gravity inherent to this dimension pulling him downwards.

She took the chance to attack again, from her hair, thousands of needles emerged, shooting towards The Watcher.

This time, she actually managed to land a hit, several dozen needles striking him, but it seemed like he didn't really mind them.

Instead, he raised himself up, using raw strength to ignore the effects of her dimension.

His spear started glowing, and this time, she could see what was happening.

Chakra was gathering around it, before he took a stance with it, aiming straight at her.

It felt slightly familiar.

Kaguya had no idea what he was attempting with such an attack, Chakra was something that she knew too well, to beat her with it, you would need something beyond merely gathering a large amount of it.

The Watchers arm moved, and the spear was let go, flying towards Kaguya.

She had no interest in finding out what his attack did, so she created a rift, or at least, she attempted to.

There was resistance, as if some force was fighting against her ability to teleport.

The spear struck her in the chest, breaking through the skin.

And deep within her, something resonated with the Chakra wrapped around the spear.

Her body involuntarily twitched, her body morphed, becoming a monstrous hybrid of the Juubi and a rabbit.

Nine tails burst from her lower back, 8 of them under her own control, but one was spasming wildly, flicking this way and that with no rhyme or reason.

But The Watcher did not attack her in this form, simply teleporting once again, a hand phasing through the tail she couldn't control, grasping something.

And then she could control it.

The Watcher and the spear both disappeared, leaving her alone, confused at the abrupt end of their fight.

The hole in her chest closed, little more than an annoyance.

But there was no time for reflection, she immediately needed to stabilize her form, she did not know why she had lost control, her transformation into this form should have been fully under her control, and the fact that all her tails looked different was worrying.

Every single one was different, one was furred and fox like, another was the tentacle of an Octopus.

What had happened to her Chakra in the time she had been sealed?

But those questions would have to wait.

Kaguya closed her eyes and focused on controlling her rampaging Chakra, slowly but surely, it became more manageable, less out of control.

***

I appeared in Wave, on the same beach where all those years ago I had given Saiken his new body, my eyes fixed on the Bijū soul in my hands.

And then I formed a body, and slammed it inside of it, my DP taking care of the complicated stuff and binding it to his new body.

And then I made an Ayumu body, I disliked having long conversations with my Divine One, that one could go back to his tower, I had a plan to make and a Bijū to calm down.

The technically newly born body breathed heavily, not out of breath, but in shock.

"Hello, Isobu." I greeted him. "Nice to meet you."

Immediately, his head snapped towards me, a single ringed eye looking at me with a mixture of confusion and anger.

But that anger quickly disappeared as he realized something.

"Why am I so small?" He muttered in disbelief, raising up one of his arms and examining it. "What happened? I feel so weak!"

Man was a turtle the size of a truck and strong enough to beat everything that was not a Kage into a pulp, and still calls himself weak.

"Don't worry bout it, anyways, I have very little time before Kaguya finishes recovering, so let's speed through this." I told him seriously. "You are currently on the land of Wave, you now have a biological body more resembling a Summon Animal than a full-blown Bijū."

I created a scroll and threw it at him, he tried catching it, but missed, and it bounced off his head.

"That's the Transformation Jutsu, learn it if you want to blend in with humans." I continued. "Saiken is in the same situation as you, so if you want a better explanation, go find him, here's a map."

Another scroll got tossed towards him, and he managed to catch it this time.

"Good luck, talk to you later, have a nice day."

Isobu opened his mouth to speak, but I was gone before he could.

I still hadn't given up on the whole, you know, not killing Kaguya bit.

So I needed to force her to calm the fuck down.

Man, killing people was so much easier.

***

Isobu had so many questions, but the only person that could answer them had vanished right in front of him.

He felt weak, weaker than he had ever been before, and that scared him.

And all he had to go on was a map and a scroll containing the Transformation Jutsu, something he was familiar with, but also something he could have never used before due to his Bijū status.

Well, technically he could, but there was a limit to how much you could change with that Jutsu, a human as tall as a small castle wouldn't exactly be stealthy, so he never bothered.

He opened the map, if Saiken had answers, then he should really go looking for him.

"Ah, that's why he gave me the Jutsu." He muttered to himself.

The map had two parts, one showing his current location, with directions leading to 'The Capital' and another part, a city.

With one big red X on top of what was labelled 'Saiken's Restaurant'.

What the hell was going on.
