Elena's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at Lily. "He really did?" she asked, her voice filled with disbelief. Her eyes seemed to bulge out of their sockets as she moved closer to Lily, clearly eager to hear more details.
Lily chuckled at her friend's reaction, feeling a bit shy. "So, did you agree?" Elena pressed, her curiosity getting the better of her. She leaned forward, desperate for more information.
Laughing softly at Elena's intense curiosity, Lily closed her eyes in shyness. "Oh, Elena, it's me, you. You shouldn't have to hide anything from me," she said playfully, gently pulling Lily's hands down from her face.
With a deep sigh, Lily finally relented. "Okay, calm down. Well, nothing happened. I told him I'm not ready, and that was it. He didn't push it, but I could tell he was sad and really needed me," Lily confessed quietly. Her voice grew soft as she continued, "But I wasn't ready."
