Chapter 140 - starlight gathering

I watched as my family bustled around me, each member busy with their own preparations for the Starlight Gathering. Mother was meticulously polishing her light green scales, while Father was preening his albino wings, making sure every scale was perfectly aligned. My siblings were all chatting excitedly, each one showcasing their unique personalities.

Lyriath, the navy blue and red dragon, was flexing his wings, trying to impress everyone with his strength. Vyraxys, the dark bronze dragon, was teasing Nyxoria, the amethyst dragon, about her elaborate scale patterns. Lyrixa, the rose gold dragon, was giggling with Kaidorix, the forest green dragon, as they played a game of chase through the mountain cave tunnels.

Meanwhile, Kieraxys, the copper dragon, was bouncing around, full of energy, and Niamon, the lavender dragon, was babbling excitedly, her big eyes shining with anticipation. This would be her first Starlight Gathering, and she was clearly thrilled.

As for me, Tharros, I was... hiding. Again. Under Father's wing, to be precise. It was a familiar spot, one that made me feel safe. I had attended the Starlight Gathering before, but I always preferred to observe from the safety of his shadow. The other dragons seemed to find it cute, and I was fine with that. It meant I could avoid the spotlight and just enjoy the festivities without too much fuss.

Father chuckled and nudged me gently with his snout. "My little shadow, ready to hide under my wing again this year?"

I smiled slightly, feeling a bit self-conscious, but nodded. It was just easier this way. Besides, I had my family to protect me, and that's all that mattered.

But as I peeked out from under Father's wing, I caught Niamon looking at me with wide, curious eyes. She seemed to be wondering what I was doing. I smiled at her, and she giggled, toddling over to me. Maybe this Starlight Gathering wouldn't be so bad after all.

As we finished our preparations, Father spread his majestic albino wings, signaling that it was time to depart. "Alright, family! Let's get going! The Starlight Gathering awaits!"

My siblings cheered and began to stretch their wings, shaking off the excitement. Lyriath let out a mighty roar, flexing his powerful muscles. Vyraxys grinned mischievously, likely planning his next tease. Lyrixa and Kaidorix exchanged a look, and then Lyrixa took off in a flash, Kaidorix hot on her heels.

Kieraxys bounced over to Father, chirping excitedly. "Father, Father! Can I fly next to you? Pleeease?" Father chuckled and nudged Kieraxys gently. "Of course, little one. You can fly right beside me."

Niamon, still babbling excitedly, giggled and flapped her small wings, hovering beside Mother. "Don't worry, little one," Mother said. "We'll have so much fun at the gathering. You'll make many new friends."

I hesitated for a moment, then spread my silver wings, joining my siblings in the sky. With a final beat of our wings, we soared into the air, our dragons' roars echoing through the mountain caves as we flew towards the Starlight Gathering. The wind rushed past me, and I felt a thrill of excitement mixed with a dash of nervousness. What would this gathering bring?

As we flew, the landscape unfolded before us, a breathtaking panorama of mountains and valleys. The sun cast a warm glow over the terrain, illuminating the rugged peaks and shimmering lakes. My siblings chattered excitedly, their laughter and shouts carrying on the wind.

I flew alongside them, feeling the rush of the air beneath my wings. Father led the way, his albino wings beating steadily as he guided us through the skies. Kieraxys flew beside him, chirping happily as he tried to keep up with Father's pace.

Niamon zipped around Mother, playing a game of tag with Lyrixa and Kaidorix. Lyriath flew ahead, his powerful wings propelling him forward as he scouted out the route. Vyraxys flew beside me, grinning mischievously as he tried to get my attention.

I smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with my siblings. We were all in this together, and I was excited to see what the Starlight Gathering had in store for us.

As we flew, the mountains gave way to a vast, open plain. In the distance, I saw a shimmering glow on the horizon. The Starlight Gathering. My heart skipped a beat as I felt a surge of excitement and anticipation. What would we find there?

As we drew closer to the gathering, the shimmering glow grew brighter, illuminating the plain with a soft, ethereal light. The air was filled with a sweet, melodic hum, and I could feel the magic of the gathering pulsing through the air.

Father led us towards the heart of the glow, and as we descended, I saw a sprawling gathering of dragons from all over the land. There were dragons of every color and size, all gathered together in a vibrant, joyful celebration.

We landed amidst the throng, our family mingling with the other dragons. Lyriath was already chatting with a group of dragons, boasting about his flying skills. Lyrixa and Kaidorix were playing a game of chase with some younger dragons, their laughter echoing through the air.

Niamon was babbling excitedly to a group of dragons, showing off her wings and trying to impress them. Kieraxys was exploring the gathering, his eyes wide with wonder. Vyraxys was teasing a group of dragons, playing pranks and causing mischief.

Father and Mother greeted some of the elder dragons, exchanging warm smiles and words of welcome. I hovered beside them, feeling a bit overwhelmed but happy to be surrounded by my family.

As we settled in, the gathering's magic began to swirl around us, filling the air with music and light. I felt a sense of belonging, knowing that we were part of this larger community of dragons. The Starlight Gathering was going to be an unforgettable experience.

As the gathering's magic swirled around us, a gentle voice echoed through the air, welcoming all the dragons to the Starlight Gathering. The voice was soft and soothing, and it seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

The dragons all turned to face the center of the gathering, where a magnificent dragon with scales that shone like the stars themselves stood on a raised platform. The dragon's eyes sparkled with warmth and wisdom, and its presence seemed to fill the entire gathering.

"Welcome, dear dragons, to the Starlight Gathering," the dragon said, its voice carrying across the plain. "Tonight, we come together to celebrate our bond, our diversity, and our shared love of the skies. Let us share stories, play games, and enjoy each other's company."

The dragons all cheered and applauded, and the gathering's magic surged to new heights. I felt a thrill of excitement, and I couldn't wait to see what the night had in store for us.

As the dragon on the platform finished speaking, a group of dragons began to play a lively tune on a variety of instruments. The music was infectious, and soon many of the dragons were dancing and singing along. My siblings and I joined in, laughing and having a wonderful time.

But as I danced, I noticed a group of dragons watching us from the edge of the gathering. They seemed to be observing us with great interest, and I wondered who they were and what they wanted.

I darting to under Father Wing.

I darted under Father's wing, feeling a sense of safety and security in the familiar spot. Father's wing wrapped around me, shielding me from the outside world, and I peeked out to see what was happening. The music and laughter continued, but I felt a bit more at ease in my hiding spot.

The dragon chuckled "and here is that cute and adorable baby dragon that hide under his father wing in every time he goes to the starlight gathering!" It said.

The other dragons around us chuckled and smiled, their eyes shining with amusement. I felt my face grow warm with embarrassment, but Father just laughed and nudged me gently with his snout. "Yes, this is my little shadow," he said, his voice full of affection. "He likes to hide under my wing when he's feeling a bit overwhelmed." The dragon's words made me feel a bit self-conscious, but Father's warm tone made me feel loved and accepted.

Kieraxys chuckled "oh Niamon this is your first time going to the starlight gathering and just know in my first time going here when Father accidentally exposed Tharros to many dragons he" Kieraxys pause.

Kieraxys laugh "he cried out very loud until Father go back to hid him from the other dragon!"

The other dragons burst out laughing at Kieraxys's story, and I felt my face grow even warmer with embarrassment. Niamon giggled and looked at me with wide eyes, clearly amused by the story.

Father chuckled and ruffled my scales with his snout, "Well, let's just say Tharros was a bit overwhelmed that time."

I glared at Kieraxys, who was still laughing, but couldn't help but smile at the memory. 'Why did Kieraxys have to bring that up now?' I thought, feeling a bit self-conscious.

As I looked around, I noticed the other dragons were still enjoying Kieraxys's story, and I decided to just roll with it. I smiled and shook my head, laughing along with them.

Suddenly we heard grandmother lyraen "ah hey there Aetherius ny son!"

Grandmother Lyraen's voice boomed across the gathering, and Father's eyes lit up as he turned to face her. "Mother!" he exclaimed, rushing over to give her a warm hug.

I watched as they exchanged affectionate greetings, feeling a sense of warmth and closeness within our family. Grandmother Lyraen's presence always brought a sense of joy and love, and I was happy to see Father reunite with her.

As they chatted, I slipped out from under Father's wing, feeling a bit more at ease now that the attention was on Father and Grandmother Lyraen. I smiled and joined in the conversation, happy to catch up with our grandmother.

Grandmother Lyraen's eyes sparkled as she saw me approach, and she opened her arms for a hug. "Ah, Tharros, my dear grandchild!" she exclaimed, enveloping me in a warm embrace.

I hugged her back, feeling grateful for her love and affection. "Grandmother," I said, smiling up at her.

As we hugged, Father and Grandmother Lyraen chatted about family news and updates. I listened in, happy to hear about the latest happenings from back home.

After a while, Grandmother Lyraen turned to Father and said, "Aetherius, I see you're still spoiling Tharros by letting him hide under your wing."

Father chuckled and ruffled my scales with his snout. "Someone has to protect him from all the attention," he said with a smile.

I blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious about my tendency to hide. But Grandmother Lyraen just laughed and said, "Well, I'm sure Tharros can handle a little attention. He's growing up to be a fine young dragon."

Father chuckled "i mean he is just a little scared and shy sometimes and it not easy for him to not sleep under my wing!"

Grandmother Lyraen's expression softened, and she nodded understandingly. "Ah, I see," she said. "It's natural for young ones to feel scared or overwhelmed at times. You're a good father, Aetherius, for being there to comfort him."

Father smiled, looking pleased with himself. "I'll always be here for him," he said.

I felt a warmth in my heart at Father's words, and I leaned into his side, feeling grateful for his love and support. Grandmother Lyraen smiled at us, her eyes shining with affection. "I'm sure Tharros appreciates that, Aetherius," she said.

Father smiled and nuzzled grandmother lyraen "so where is Kaidën i guest he is in the eating contest with my oldest time friend varkorus like always Kaidën defeat varkorus!"

Grandmother Lyraen chuckled and nodded. "Ah, yes! Kaidën is indeed participating in the eating contest with Varkorus. I'm not sure who's going to win this year, but I'm sure it'll be a close competition."

She smiled proudly. "Kaidën has been practicing his eating skills, and Varkorus is as fierce as ever. It's going to be an exciting contest to watch."

I grinned, imagining Kaidën and Varkorus competing against each other. "I bet Kaidën will win," I said confidently. "He's always been determined to beat Varkorus."

I go hid myself deeper under Father Wing.

Father's wing wrapped around me more snugly, holding me close. "Don't worry, little one," he said softly. "You're safe with me."

I felt a sense of comfort and security in the warmth of Father's wing, and I peeked out to watch the commotion around us. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air, and I could sense the excitement building up for the eating contest.

As I watched, Father continued to chat with Grandmother Lyraen, discussing the upcoming events and activities at the gathering. I listened intently, feeling grateful for the sense of safety and love that Father's presence brought me.

Father sighed and smiled "I'm going to go get Tharros something to eat while Thyriatrix be with the little ones!"

Mother nodded "i will keep on eye on them for you dear!"

I peeked out from under Father's wing, watching as he gave Mother a gentle nuzzle before heading off towards the food stalls. Mother smiled and nodded, gathering the younger siblings around her.

"Let's go play, little ones!" she said, her voice filled with warmth and enthusiasm. Lyrixa, Kaidorix, Kieraxys, and Niamon all cheered and followed Mother, their laughter and chatter filling the air.

I watched them go, feeling a bit more at ease now that I was alone with Grandmother Lyraen. She smiled at me and said, "Would you like to go with your father, Tharros? I'm sure he'd love to have you by his side while he gets some food."

I nodded "yes grandmother lyraen!"

Grandmother Lyraen chuckled and stood up, offering me her claw. "Well, let's go then! I'll walk with you to the food stalls and see what delicious treats your father is going to bring back for you."

I took her claw, feeling excited to go with her and Father to get some food. As we walked, I looked up at Grandmother Lyraen and asked, "Grandmother, what kind of food do you think Father will get for me?"

Grandmother Lyraen smiled and replied, "I'm sure he'll get something you love, Tharros. Maybe some of those sweet pastries you like so much?"

Grandmother Lyraen chuckled and said, "I think I'll let Aetherius handle getting the food, dear. Tharros seems to prefer having his father nearby."

Father smiled and nodded, "Yes, let's go get some food together, Tharros." He wrapped his wing around me, shielding me from the crowd, and we walked to the food stalls together.

As we walked, I felt safe and secure under Father's wing, hiding from the curious glances of the other dragons. Father ordered some food, and I peeked out from under his wing, watching as he expertly navigated the vendors and picked out some of my favorite treats.

With Father by my side, I felt more confident, and I enjoyed the sights and smells of the food stalls without feeling overwhelmed.

Father grabbed a starlight steak my favorite food.

The aroma of the starlight steak wafted through the air, and my eyes lit up as Father handed it to me. "Here you go, little one," he said, smiling.

I took the steak in my claws, feeling excited to dig in. The tender meat melted in my mouth, and I savored the delicious flavor. "Mmm..." I murmured, enjoying every bite.

Father watched me eat, looking pleased. "Glad you like it, Tharros," he said, ruffling my scales with his snout.

Suddenly, i heard a familiar voice with my wolf-fox ears, and it was Astral a female dragon that i first seen in my first time going to the starlight gathering "oh is that cute and adorable baby dragon!" Astral said and i shivered a bit.

I shivered and pressed myself closer to Father, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sudden attention. Father's wing wrapped around me more tightly, shielding me from Astral's gaze.

"Ah, Astral," Father said, his voice polite but firm. "Nice to see you again. Tharros is a bit shy around strangers, so let's give him some space, okay?"

Astral's smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered. "Oh, of course, Aetherius! I didn't mean to startle him. Hi, Tharros! You're just as adorable as I remembered." She reached out a claw, but Father subtly shifted, keeping her from touching me.

I stayed hidden under Father's wing, feeling safe and protected.

Astral smiled "can i nuzzled him since he did seem fine when i first meet him!"

Father's expression remained firm, and he gently but firmly said, "I don't think that's a good idea, Astral. Tharros is still getting used to new people, and he's not comfortable with strangers touching him yet."

Astral's smile didn't waver, but I could sense a hint of disappointment in her voice. "Oh, okay. I understand. Maybe next time, then?" she said, looking at me with a hopeful gaze.

Father nodded politely. "We'll see, Astral. Let's just focus on enjoying the gathering for now."

I stayed safely hidden under Father's wing, feeling grateful for his protection and understanding.

Astral leaned down to peeked under Father Wing to look at me "wow you know Tharros is literally the only one i see in this starlight gathering who have those wolf-fox ears and all dragons here think he look so cute and adorable with those ears!"

I felt a surge of embarrassment and anxiety as Astral leaned down to peek under Father's wing. Father's wing tightened around me, and he gave Astral a gentle but firm warning look.

"I think Tharros has had enough attention for now, Astral," Father said, his voice calm but authoritative. "Let's give him some space, okay?"

Astral's eyes sparkled with amusement, but she straightened up and nodded. "Okay, Aetherius. I didn't mean to overwhelm him." She smiled and glanced at me one last time before turning her attention back to Father.

I stayed hidden under Father's wing, feeling relieved that he was protecting me from Astral's attention.

Astral sighed "alright i see you later Aetherius bye!"

Father smiled "see you later Astral!" And with that Father left his wing a bit to check on me.

Father's wing relaxed, and he looked down at me with a gentle smile. "You okay, little one?" he asked, his voice soft and concerned.

I nodded, still feeling a bit shaken from Astral's attention. Father's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, and he wrapped his wing around me again, holding me close.

"Let's get back to Mother and the others," he said. "I'm sure they're waiting for us." I nodded, feeling safe and secure under Father's wing, and we walked off together, leaving Astral behind.

As we walked, the sounds of the gathering grew louder, and I could hear the chatter and laughter of the other dragons. Father navigated through the crowd with ease, his wing still wrapped protectively around me.

After a while, we spotted Mother and the others gathered near a large tree, enjoying some games and activities. Mother smiled as she saw us approaching, and she waved us over.

"Hey, how was getting food?" she asked, noticing the starlight steak bones in Father's claws. Father smiled and nodded. "Tharros enjoyed it. He's a bit overwhelmed by Astral's attention, though."

Mother's expression softened, and she reached out to gently touch my head. "Poor little one," she said. "You're safe with us. We'll make sure you're comfortable and happy." I felt a surge of love and gratitude towards my parents, feeling grateful for their care and protection.

Suddenly, i heard a male dragon voice "oh look it Aetherius! Hello Tharros, remember me, Pixie, your formal combat mentor!"

He leaned down, and his pale blue lily scales in my view. "It been a while since I have no longer become your mentor! How are you doing?" He ask and I slowly peeked out.

I slowly peeked out from under Father's wing, my eyes locking onto Pixie's familiar face. His pale blue lily scales glistened in the light, and his warm smile put me at ease.

For a moment, I forgot about Astral's attention, and my curiosity took over. I looked at Pixie with interest, remembering our combat training sessions.

"Hi, Pixie!" I said, my voice a bit shy but friendly. Pixie's eyes sparkled with delight, and he chuckled.

"Ah, Tharros, you're getting more confident, I see!" He said, his voice warm and encouraging. Father watched our interaction with a pleased expression, his wing relaxing a bit more around me.

Pixie glanced at Father, then back at me. "I was thinking of sparring with your father later. Would you like to watch?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement. I looked up at Father, then back at Pixie, intrigued by the prospect.

Pixie smiled. "I couldn't go to Tharros from all those starlight gatherings since there are many dragons who want to pat and nuzzled the cute dragons!"

Pixie chuckled. "But I'm glad to see you're doing well, Tharros. Your parents are doing a great job keeping you safe and happy." He glanced at Father, who nodded in agreement.

"I've been keeping an eye on him," Father said, his wing tightening around me slightly. "Tharros is still getting used to all the attention at these gatherings."

Pixie nodded understandingly. "I'll make sure to keep my distance and let him come to me if he wants to interact." He smiled at me again, his eyes warm and gentle. "No pressure, Tharros. You can just enjoy the gathering with your family."

Pixie laugh "hah I remember when Tharros was going to the starlight gathering when you accidentally exposed him to the other dragons. Tharros ended up running away, and you had to chase him!"

Father's expression turned sheepish, and he chuckled. "Ah, yes. That was quite the adventure. Tharros was so overwhelmed, and I had to chase after him to catch him."

I looked up at Father, remembering that incident. I had been so scared and overwhelmed, and Father had been so gentle and reassuring when he finally caught up to me.

Pixie laughed again, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, at least Tharros is more confident now. And Aetherius, you're still the best father-dragon duo I've seen." Father smiled, looking pleased, and I felt happy to see him happy.

Mother walked over to us, a warm smile on her face. "Hey, what's going on here?" she asked, noticing the laughter and conversation.

Pixie grinned. "Just reminiscing about Tharros's first starlight gathering. Aetherius was chasing after him, trying to catch him."

Mother's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Oh, yes! That was quite the sight. I'm glad Tharros is more comfortable now."

Father wrapped his wing around me again, holding me close. "He's getting there. Still a bit overwhelmed by strangers, but he's learning to cope."

Mother nodded, her expression understanding. "We'll keep working with him. He's a sweet boy, and he'll find his footing." She smiled at me, and I felt a surge of love and comfort, surrounded by my family and Pixie.

Pixie question, "How much is tharros confident?" Father answered,"not much as the other, but it is something!"

Pixie chuckled and nodded. "Well, every dragon develops at their own pace. Tharros will get there when he's ready." He smiled at me, his eyes warm and encouraging.

I looked up at Father, feeling a bit self-conscious about my shyness. But Father's expression was reassuring, and he gave me a gentle squeeze with his wing.

"You're doing great, Tharros," he said. "Don't worry about what others think. Just be yourself." I felt a surge of gratitude towards Father, knowing he accepted me for who I was.

"And beside you are know many dragons here as very cute and adorable!" He said.

Pixie said with a grin, "Tharros, you're one of the most adorable ones here, with those wolf-fox ears and all."

I blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious about being called adorable. Father chuckled and ruffled my scales with his snout.

"Don't worry, Tharros," he said. "You're perfect just the way you are." I smiled, feeling happy and loved.

Mother, Thyriatrix, smiled at me, her eyes shining with love and pride. "You know, Tharros, being adorable isn't a bad thing. It's just part of what makes you special." She leaned in and nuzzled me gently.

Pixie nodded in agreement. "And it's clear that Aetherius and you, Thyriatrix, are doing an amazing job raising Tharros. He's a wonderful young dragon."

I felt a warmth in my heart, knowing that my family and Pixie appreciated me for who I was. Father's wing wrapped around me tighter, and I leaned into his side, feeling safe and loved.

For a moment, I forgot about the crowds and the noise of the gathering, and all that mattered was the love and acceptance of my family and friends. Grandmother Lyraen watched us with a warm smile, happy to see her family so happy.

As the evening wore on, the starlight gathering only grew more vibrant. More dragons arrived, their scales shimmering under the starlight. Pixie excused himself to join some friends, but not before ruffling my scales and saying, "Take care, Tharros. I'll catch up with you later."

Mother and Father continued to mingle, with Father keeping his wing wrapped securely around me. I was a bit shy at first, but with their gentle encouragement, I began to open up and enjoy the conversations.

Grandmother Lyraen stayed close, watching over me with a keen eye. She seemed to sense when I was feeling overwhelmed, and would swoop in to distract me with a story or a game.

As the night deepened, the stars twinkled above us, and the gathering reached its peak. Dragons of all ages laughed and played together, their scales glinting in the soft light. I felt grateful to be a part of this loving community, surrounded by my family and friends.

Suddenly, I heard a commotion near the edge of the gathering. A group of young dragons were chasing each other, their laughter and shouts filling the air. I watched, fascinated, as they played a game of tag. Father smiled and nudged me gently with his snout.

"Want to watch them play?" he asked, his voice low and soothing. I nodded, and Father wrapped his wing around me tighter, holding me close as we watched the other dragons play. I felt safe and content in his arms, enjoying the sights and sounds of the gathering.

As we watched, one of the young dragons stumbled and fell, but quickly scrambled to its feet, laughing. Father chuckled and nuzzled me gently.

"They're having so much fun," he said. "It's wonderful to see the young ones playing together."

I nodded, smiling at the sight. The dragons playing tag were my siblings, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix. We were all about the same age, having hatched on the same day, and it was adorable to see us playing together.

Grandmother Lyraen smiled at me, her eyes twinkling. "Your siblings are having a great time, aren't they?" she asked.

I nodded, feeling happy to see my family enjoying themselves. Father's wing wrapped around me tightly, and I leaned into his side, feeling safe and loved.

As the night wore on, the gathering began to wind down. The dragons said their goodbyes, and the crowd began to disperse. Father and Mother exchanged a look, and then Mother smiled at me.

"Time to head home, Tharros," she said. "You've had a big night."

I nodded, feeling a bit tired but happy. Father's wing wrapped around me securely, and we said our goodbyes to Grandmother Lyraen and the other dragons. As we flew home under the starry sky, I felt grateful for the love and support of my family.

As we flew, the wind ruffled my scales, but Father's wing kept me snug and secure. I gazed up at the stars, feeling the gentle rhythm of Father's wings as we soared through the night air.

When we arrived home, Mother settled in beside us, and Father gently guided me to my nesting area. I curled up, feeling the softness of my bed, and Father wrapped his wing around me once more.

"Get some rest, Tharros," Mother said, smiling. "We'll see you in the morning."

I nodded, feeling sleepy, and Father's gentle breathing lulled me into a peaceful slumber. The last thing I remembered was the warmth of Father's wing and the love of my family surrounding me.

I look up at Father "can i go to the top of the mountain for a while?"

Father looked at me thoughtfully, his eyes considering my request. "It's late, Tharros. Maybe tomorrow during the day would be better?" he suggested gently.

I looked up at him with pleading eyes, and Father's expression softened. "But if you promise to stay safe and not go too far, I can take you to the top of the mountain for a short while," he said.

I nodded eagerly, feeling excited at the prospect of watching the stars from the top of the mountain with Father by my side. Mother smiled and nodded in agreement. "Just be careful, Tharros," she said.

Father wrapped his wing around me securely, and we set off towards the mountain, the night air crisp and cool around us.

I whimper a bit and Father heard me whimper.

Father's expression softened further as he heard my whimper. "Okay, Tharros, we'll go to the top of the mountain now," he said gently, scooping me up in his wings.

I smiled slightly, feeling relieved and happy that Father was willing to take me. He wrapped his wing around me securely, and we took to the skies, flying up to the top of the mountain under the starry night sky.

As we reached the top, the wind whispered through the rocks, and the stars shone brightly above us. Father settled down, wrapping his wing around me tightly, and I leaned into his side, feeling the peacefulness of the night.

The world seemed vast and magical from up here, and I felt small yet connected to everything. Father's warmth and presence made me feel safe, and I gazed up at the stars, feeling grateful for this moment with him.

We sat there in comfortable silence, enjoying the beauty of the night together, Father's wing a reassuring presence around me.

I sighed and whimper a bit.

Father looked down at me with concern and wrapped his wing around me more snugly. "What's wrong, Tharros?" he asked softly. "Are you feeling overwhelmed or scared?"

I looked up at him, and he could see the worry in my eyes. Father's expression softened, and he pulled me closer. "It's okay, Tharros. I'm here. You're safe with me," he said reassuringly.

I whimper and whisper "i have never make any friends from all those time i go to the starlight gathering while all my siblings made so much friends while I'm just have no friends at my age!" I whimper even louder.

Father's expression turned sympathetic, and he pulled me into a gentle hug. "Tharros, you're a wonderful dragon, and it's okay that you're a bit shy," he said softly. "Making friends takes time, and you're still young. Your siblings are all different, and they make friends in their own ways too."

He looked into my eyes, his gaze warm and understanding. "You know, Tharros, sometimes the most meaningful friendships take a little longer to develop. But that doesn't mean you won't make wonderful friends. You just need to be patient and be yourself."

Father's words were comforting, and I felt a bit better, knowing he believed in me. I snuggled closer to him, feeling grateful for his love and support.

I go to Father left front leg and hug it tightly.

Father smiled gently and wrapped his claw around me, holding me close. "I'm here for you, Tharros," he said softly. "You're safe and loved, no matter what."

I held onto his leg tightly, feeling the warmth and security of his presence. Father's gentle voice and soothing touch helped calm my worries, and I felt my whimpers subside.

As I hugged Father's leg, I knew that he would always be there for me, no matter what challenges I faced. His love and support gave me the strength to face my fears and worries, and I felt grateful to have him as my father.

Father smiles "look Tharros you are already 8 years old now and your are the oldest and the biggest and strongest among your siblings but it seem you are not confident on making friends."

I looked up at Father, feeling a mix of emotions. He was right; I was the oldest and biggest among my siblings, but somehow, that didn't translate to confidence when it came to making friends.

Father's smile softened, and he continued, "Being big and strong doesn't mean you have to be confident in every situation, Tharros. But what matters most is that you're trying, and that's something to be proud of."

He gently nudged me with his snout. "And don't worry, Tharros. With time and patience, you'll find your own way to make friends and build connections. Just be yourself, and the right dragons will appreciate you for who you are."

I nodded slowly, feeling a sense of understanding wash over me. Father's words made sense, and I knew he was trying to help me see things from a different perspective.

As I looked up at Father, I felt a surge of gratitude towards him. He always knew just what to say to make me feel better, and I was lucky to have him as my father.

I leaned into his side, feeling the warmth and comfort of his presence. Father wrapped his wing around me, holding me close, and we sat there in silence for a moment, enjoying the peacefulness of the night.

"Thank you, Father," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper.

Father smiled and nuzzled me gently. "Anytime, Tharros. I'm always here for you."

Father hold me close "no matter what you'll always safe with me and no one will try to hurt you not with me always around you!"

I felt a deep sense of security and comfort in Father's words, knowing that he would always be there to protect me. I hugged him tightly, feeling grateful for his love and reassurance.

In that moment, I knew that with Father by my side, I could face anything that came my way. His presence made me feel invincible, and I knew that I would always be safe with him watching over me.

I looked up at Father, my eyes shining with happiness and gratitude. "I love you, Father," I said, my voice filled with emotion.

Father smiled and hugged me closer. "I love you too, Tharros. Always."

As we hugged, the stars twinkled above us, and the night air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. The world seemed peaceful and serene, and I felt at one with Father and the universe.

In that moment, nothing else mattered except the love and connection we shared. I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, Father would always be there to support and guide me.

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I felt a deep sense of contentment wash over me. I knew that I was exactly where I belonged – in Father's loving embrace.

Father smiled "let go back to the cave and rest!" I nodded.

Father wrapped his wing around me securely, and we took to the skies, flying gently back to the cave. The wind ruffled my scales, but I felt safe and cozy in Father's wing.

As we landed at the cave entrance, Father guided me to my nesting area,

I curled up, feeling the stone floor, and Father wrapped his wing around me once more.

With a final nuzzle, Father settled beside me, and I drifted off to sleep, surrounded by his warmth and protection.

"Sleep tight, Tharros," he whispered, his voice soothing.

I smiled, feeling grateful for Father's love. "Goodnight, Father," I replied, my voice soft.

As I drifted off to sleep, I felt Father's gentle breath on my scales, and his warmth enveloped me. The sound of his steady heartbeat was the last thing I heard before falling into a peaceful slumber, safe and loved in Father's presence.

The cave grew quiet, with only the distant sound of dripping water and the gentle rustling of Father's wings as he watched over me. The darkness was comforting, and I slept soundly, knowing Father was always there to protect me.

As the night wore on, the cave remained peaceful, with Father's watchful presence a constant comfort. I slept deeply, my dreams filled with visions of flying and exploring the skies with Father by my side.

The stars outside twinkled like diamonds in the night sky, casting a gentle glow over the cave. Father's wings remained wrapped around me, a protective shield that kept me safe from harm.

In this serene and loving atmosphere, I slept soundly, surrounded by Father's love and protection. And as the night wore on, the chapter of this day came to a close.
