It had been two years since Luna Bennett had last seen Kingsly Scott.

Luna thought Kingsly hadn't changed from two years ago; his handsome appearance took the breath away from every woman who saw him, but his innate coldness and indifference made people keep their distance.

They ate quietly, the atmosphere feeling like it used to be as if they had never been apart.

Below the floor-to-ceiling windows lay the busiest streets of Paris, bustling with traffic and people, and all Luna had to do was turn her head to see the most romantic Eiffel Tower.

The quiet dining ambiance was a tacit understanding they had shared.

So, after finishing their meal, Luna elegantly wiped her mouth and said, "A month and a half ago, when I saw the news about you and Rachel Foster's loving relationship plastered all over the newspapers, I was genuinely happy for you. I even thought about congratulating you both when you and Rachel married."
