One by one, devils starts to retreat from the human world, abandoning their original goals.
After hearing the invasion of Heaven and the defeat of their leaders, the devils were solemn.
They could already imagine what would their fate be now that they were defeated.
Either death, or forever becoming slaves to the higher power.
In Lucifaad, the reconstruction was done and the devils now have their home back. However none of them were moving, they all stayed in their place, watching the Angels with a hint of fear and slight anger.
"What are they going to do to us?"
"We're doomed. It's over."
"They're angels. They won't kill us now that the Satans are gone."
"Where are the Fallen Angels? Aren't they suppose to join the war? Those pesky cowards!"
"I'm scared. What are they gonna do to us?"
The army of Angels combined with God's presence gathered many comments and reactions from the devils.
Some were positive while the most are negative.
Although they know that the Angels are inherently good but that doesn't mean they're good enough to spare their enemies.
"They're scared. As expected." God muttered to himself, he could feel the fear and stares of the devils around him.
"Father. What are we gonna do to them?" Michael flew down and landed beside God before asking.
"We leave them be." God answered as if it was a fact.
"Leave them? But what if they rebel? Their Demonic Magic is unpredictable and too strong. Especially since the Four Satans' children are still out there somewhere. Probably planning on how to get back to us."
After hearing God's plan for the devils, Michael immediately saw the negative outcomes of it, trying to convince his father to change his mind.
"Then what do you suggest I do, Michael? Kill them all in a ruthless manner? Become someone I should never be?" God gave Michael side eye while he questioned him.
"I….But…." Michael wa speechless, unable to refute God's words this time.
The old man was right, if God were to massacre right here and now, then he wouldn't be the benevolent and forgiving God that he should be.
"I'm sorry, father. It was mistake of mine."
Michael lowered his head out of shame.
"Don't be, Michael. My grandson once told me that if you make a mistake. Don't be sorry about it, be better." God smiled and said, recalling the quote that his grandson once told him.
"Be better…." Michael muttered the last line of the quote that his brother's son stated.
"I understand it now, father." After a few seconds to taking in the meaning of it, Michael straightened his back and said with a determined nod of his head.
"Chamber is such a wise man despite his young age." Michael couldn't help but comment.
"Indeed he is. Must've inherited it from me! Hahaha!" God laughed out loud after glazing himself.
"Yeah right…" Michael awkwardly agreed with a strained smile.

"That's why. I want you to become the new leader of the Devils, not as a Satan but more as a King. You're gonna need strength and influence. Especially, connections. But I'll handle that myself. Just focus on your own strength first." Chamber explained to Raviel, who was listening to every word he said.
"But how can I replace Zekram as the new head of Bael clan? I don't even have the Power of Destrution trait." Raviel worriedly asked.
"Don't worry. I've been quite attuned in souls and I have Zekram trapped in my Mirror Dimension. Although I planned to have him stay there forever watching over the ruined city of Lucifaad but I don't think that punishment is enough for someone like him." As Chamber explains, he raised his hand and pointed his finger on Raviel's chest.
"So I think he would be more useful if I took away his Power of Destruction and transfer it to you instead. Not only it would weaken him greatly, it would also make you strong instead."
"Got it?"
"I see. So I'll pretend to be Zekram, at least until the situation in the Underworld is stabilized?" Raviel repeated the plan for confirmation.
"Yes. But we don't want to uplift Zekram's name do we? Once the Civil War is finished. We'll stage your death or Zekram's death and then put Raviel Bael to the front." Leaning back, Chamber crossed his arms with a smile.
"That's it?"
"Yup. That's all." Chamber nodded his head before continuing.
"So, are you ready?"
"…Ready." With a determined tone, Raviel nodded his head and said.
"What about my appearance though?"
"We'll fix that with a simple biological reconstruction. It's easy."

"It's over." I muttered to myself after receiving the news from my father, Zeoticus.
"Not only that. That bastard Zekram must've gone into hiding! He was missing during that battle!" Zeoticus clenched his fists while gritting his teeth in anger.
"Zekram? Missing?" Sirzechs got more and more confused by the situation.
'He's probably setting his plans in motion by now.' Sirzechs assumed in his mind.
'I wonder what he did to those kids he mentioned that he kidnapped? It's also quite a bit weird that Serafall told me to not go all out in the battlefield or else she would spread my fantasy for having a small sister.' Just by recalling it, I couldn't help but shiver in fear.
'Must be part of Zekram's plan.' I muttered to myself and decided to leave it at that.
"Now that the Four Satans are gone. This is the chance for our clan to rise! We can take over their properties and make it ours. We must hurry before others could take it from us!" As usual, my father always had the clan in his mind, not caring for anything else other than his own glory along with the clan's.
"Yes yes." I sighed in defeat and just decided to ride along with him.

"As expected of him." I muttered to myself after watching the recording that my drone recorded from the sky.
It recorded everything down to the last detail.
What I couldn't make sense of is how did Chamber managed to pull millions of Angels and a few thousand devils away from the explosion radius that the idiot Satan Lucifer released.
"Must be that Sacred Gear of him." My mind immediately went over the tool that Chamber said to be resting inside his soul.
"I wish I could study it somehow. I'd like to make one myself." I sighed in defeat after saying this.
"What a wishful thinking. How can I study it when Big G himself was the one who created it. Haha!~"

We are celebrating. Our first and hopefully the last victory against those devils.
"Teacher!" Running towards me was Santos, smile of relief can be seen in his face.
He just went over to some of his friends to see how they're doing after the war and just by the look on his face is enough for me to tell that they lived.
"They're alive! They're alive, teacher!" Speak of the devil!
"See? Didn't I tell you?" I grinned and ruffled his hair.
"Teacher stop it…" Santos slapped my hand away in annoyance.
This boy always hates when someone touches his hair. He treats that hair of his as if it is his own child.
Fwooosh!
Suddenly, both of us and those near were alerted by the sudden apparition of a portal near me.
"Wait stop!" I immediately raised my hand to stop those who attempts to attack whatever or whoever comes out of that portal.
The only ones I know who can wield the same portal is Chamber and his band of Sorcerers.
If they were to attack them, it would be a disaster.
The church members, albeit confused, trusted me and lowered their holy swords.
True to my expectations, Balthazar came out of the portal, already patched up and healed.
"I came with even more good news everyone." Balthazar raised his arms and voice, gathering everyone's attention.
"The devils are defeated! The Satans are dead and the Underworld is now under Heaven!" Balthazar finished his words with a large smile on his face.
"The Satans are dead!?" The church members, especially me and Santos muttered to ourselves in confusion and disbelief.
It took us long enough to register his words and once we did, we all yelled in victory and relief.
"We won! We really won, teacher!" Santos was the most happy out of all of us.
"Of course we did, kid. We did." I also couldn't help myself from smiling widely.
"Does that mean there are no longer evil in this world? Will we finally live in peace and quiet?" Santos nudged my shirt and asked with an innocent tone.
Oh right. About what happened to this little guy. The cause of his parents' death is due to humanity's evil nature.
For some reason, his words made my heart ache. At the same time, it also reminded me of a certain someone, a devil too.
Chamber. The Sorcerer Supreme.
Despite his devil heritage, that man chooses to betray his own kind and protect humanity, just because he says that he loves them.
"Santos. You must remember this." Crouching in front of him, I continued.
"Evil is already inherent in everyone. Just because devils are defeated by Heaven doesn't mean Evil has vanished completely. All of humanity, even me have a small shred of evil, just a tiny bit."
"Does that mean, we didn't win?" I saw him gulp and look at my eyes with expectations.
I wanted to agree with him and tell him that he's right but that would just mess up with his perception of good and evil. I don't want that.
"We win, Santos. Against the devils but not evil. It's part of nature. Both Good and Evil are the polar opposites and yet they're the one that balances our personality."
"Listen, Santos. Although we can't defeat evil but we can control it. Let it not rise and control us instead."
"And I know someone who knows it more than I do." My mind immediately went to Chamber.
