Chapter 113 - Reborn and Return

When the people in Crazed Demon Cave heard the name "Li Tian" from Limitless, chaos immediately broke out. Members of every faction started choking violently as if their lives were being ripped away. The venerables present had to act swiftly, using chains and suppression methods to save their groups from dying, but the chaos still could not be fully contained. The mere sound of Li Tian's name had such a terrifying backlash that most could not even hear it without severe consequences.

Even the venerables themselves were deeply shaken. Giant Sun Immortal Venerable especially—he had never heard of Li Tian before, as he was born after the Chaos Demon Era. No venerable had survived from that era to pass down his name.

The situation made clear: speaking Li Tian's name invoked catastrophe.

Star Constellation Immortal Venerable's eyes widened in horror. Unlike Giant Sun, she knew who Li Tian was. She had personally taken part in the plot to kill him, alongside Limitless, Red Lotus, and Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable.

Reckless Savage, however, had refused to participate. Even when Star Constellation personally approached him, Reckless simply said, "It hurts my pride to fight in a 1 vs 5. If I cannot battle fairly, I will not join at all." His refusal had changed the structure of the plan, but ultimately did not prevent it.

As of now, no one knows Reckless Savage's whereabouts.

But everyone knew one thing clearly—no force could stand against Chaos Demon Venerable. Even if all the current venerables joined forces, they would only inflict severe injuries at best, and might still perish entirely. And even that was just based on theoretical calculations; the real outcome might be worse. Only Limitless had a true understanding of the gap.

Now, after achieving eternal life himself, Limitless was the only one who could face Li Tian directly—a battle between brothers.

But whether such a battle would happen depended on Limitless... or on the Chaos Demon himself.

All the rank 8 Gu Immortals fainted after hearing Li Tian's name directly from Limitless, though they managed to survive the catastrophe without immediately dying. Only Fang Yuan, Giant Sun, and Star Constellation Immortal Venerable could withstand the pressure and curse, thanks to their rank 9 cultivation.

When they noticed Fang Yuan standing firm, realization dawned on Giant Sun and Star Constellation—they instantly understood that Fang Yuan had already broken through to rank 9, though they could not pinpoint when he had accomplished this. They had completely underestimated him, assuming he was merely another strong rank 8, like the others.

What they didn't know was that Fang Yuan had inherited Li Tian's legacy—a secret buried so deeply that even Heaven's Will only sensed fragments of it, without identifying Fang Yuan as the inheritor.

A voice echoed through the air, casual and teasing, yet filled with a weight that pressed against everyone's hearts.

"Hey, Xing Su, how are you?"

No one could see the speaker, but all could hear him clearly.

Star Constellation Immortal Venerable's—Xing Su's—expression turned icy. Her fists clenched tightly at her sides.

She hated that voice.

It was Li Tian.

Despite the battlefield's tension, he had the audacity to speak her with a light, almost mocking tone, as if they were old friends instead of mortal enemies.

The sound of his voice alone made Xing Su's heart burn with hatred, but she was forced to endure it, powerless to silence him.

"Hey, why are you so angry, Xing Su? Is it that time of the month?"

The moment Li Tian's voice echoed, Star Constellation's expression twisted in fury. Killing intent surged uncontrollably, but just before she could act, she suppressed it.

She realized he was deliberately trying to provoke her, mocking her openly in front of everyone.

"You know, I'm still angry at you for killing me in the past, even after everything we shared," Li Tian's voice shifted, carrying a heavy sadness that seeped into the atmosphere of Crazed Demon Cave. The weight of his tone made everyone present feel depressed, overwhelming their minds. Only the venerables could resist the emotional influence.

"He's using a combination of sound path and wisdom path killer moves to manipulate our emotions," Star Constellation quickly warned Giant Sun and Fang Yuan. "If we fall into those emotions, we'll lose control. Stay alert."

She specifically warned Fang Yuan as well, despite their opposing factions, because from her perspective, Fang Yuan was already too unpredictable—and now possibly the inheritor of Chaos Demon Venerable's legacy.

"Well, well, well, Xing Su... why so tense around me?" Li Tian's voice, playful yet heavy, rolled through the Crazed Demon Cave like thunder.

"I just asked for one favor back then, and you hated me enough to break it all off," he said, his tone carrying a wounded laugh. "Do you know how much it hurt, Xing Su? Even now, after countless lives, I'm still single... still waiting. Every time I met you again, you killed me—but I still loved you."

The emotions woven into his voice struck deep into the hearts of all present. Despair, nostalgia, a haunting tenderness—emotions that twisted reality itself. Even seasoned Gu Immortals struggled against the manipulation. Only the venerables could resist, and even they felt a tightening in their hearts.

Star Constellation—Xing Su—bit down hard, her cold wisdom countering the waves of emotion surging at her. But rage seethed beneath her calm.

"He's using a sound path and wisdom path killer move combined," she warned Giant Sun and Fang Yuan sharply. "Stay clear-headed. If we fall into it, even we will lose control."

Despite her hatred, she included Fang Yuan in her warning—because even she did not dare underestimate an inheritor of Chaos Demon Venerable.

Li Tian's voice turned cruel.

"But... who cares about all that, since you are all going to be my sacrifices," he whispered.

The moment those words left his mouth, the world changed.

The entire cave shook violently. Outside, the heavens roared in protest. Across all five regions, the earth itself trembled.

Four colossal Dao Marks—half black, half white—appeared in the skies above. They blotted out the sun, shining brighter than any star, visible to every living being in the Gu world.

From each of these marks, waves of chaotic energy pulsed outward, converging on a single point—the heart of the Crazed Demon Cave, where the boundary of the world was once sealed.

The hole Limitless had once closed split open again.

From it, chaos energy gushed forth like a roaring river.

The energies of the four Dao Marks merged with the chaos from outside the world, spiraling together into a massive sphere—a perfect yin-yang of black and white, spinning ominously in the heart of the battlefield.

The massive sphere of yin and yang energy rumbled violently, growing brighter and more unstable by the second. Cracks of chaotic lightning tore through the swirling ball, each strike shaking the heavens and sending shockwaves across all regions.

Then, in a blinding explosion of black and white light, the sphere burst apart—releasing a torrent of chaotic mist.

From within that mist, a figure slowly emerged.

At first, the form was vague—a silhouette woven from pure chaos itself. But as it stepped forward, the mist peeled away, revealing a body carved by the heavens and the abyss alike.

Long, flowing hair, starkly divided into radiant white and shadowy black, cascaded down a tall, lean frame like twin rivers of moonlight and midnight. His skin was pristine and smooth, almost translucent, untouched by any mortal imperfection. Ethereal and fierce, his very presence warped the air around him.

His silver eyes slowly opened, sharp and ancient, gazing coldly across the world—as if even time itself dared not meet his gaze.

Li Tian stood completely bare, adorned only by the lingering wisps of chaos swirling protectively around him. Without a word, he radiated an overwhelming majesty and a silent, crushing pressure, as if he had become a law of existence itself.

The Chaos Demon has returned.

----

I know it is OP for mc, but he has to be like that like he is one with chaos and others are not, and it needs to be taken longer for him to return because he had to conquer chaos not some heaven path dao marks.
