Chapter 214 - Chapter 213: Public Humiliation

Bukubukuchagama looked at Peroroncino, who currently seemed not very bright, and for a moment, she didn't know how to handle him.

Leaving him here was definitely not an option—it wasn't safe.

Sending him back to Nazarick wasn't ideal either, as the security there was rather thin at the moment.

After weighing her options, she realized the only choice was to bring Peroroncino along with them.

Unfortunately, no one in the group had the ability to purify curses.

"Use my Shooting Star Ring!" Momonga said.

"Huh? You still have charges left on your Shooting Star Ring?" Bukubukuchagama asked instinctively.

Back when this item was being sold by the developers, many members of Nazarick had purchased it.

It was a limited-time, limited-quantity offer, and many players had been lured into buying it.

Bukubukuchagama, Peroroncino, and Momonga had all purchased one.

But after buying it, they realized it was a one-time-use item with only three charges, and it was ridiculously expensive.

Many players were outraged after discovering this, and the developers were heavily criticized for their sales tactics.

The limited-time offer was essentially a psychological trap to force hesitant players into making a purchase.

Momonga was one of those who fell for it.

However, since Momonga was the guild master of Ainz Ooal Gown and spent most of his time managing internal conflicts rather than adventuring with his friends, his Shooting Star Ring remained unused.

"Shooting Star Ring, grant my wish! Restore Peroroncino to normal!"

A super-tier spell began to form around Momonga, enormous magic circles materializing in the air.

With a flash of white light, Peroroncino was restored to normal.

"Who am I? Where am I?" Peroroncino blinked, his eyes filled with confusion as he looked around. "Why am I tied up?"

With a wave of Bukubukuchagama's hand, the chains binding Peroroncino disappeared.

"You were cursed, Peroroncino. You lost your sanity, and I used the Shooting Star Ring to lift the curse," Momonga explained.

"Oh, I see! I didn't... I didn't do anything embarrassing just now, did I?" Peroroncino asked hesitantly.

"Not really!" Momonga reassured him.

"Well, actually, you did one thing," Bukubukuchagama added with a sly grin.

"What thing?" Peroroncino asked, starting to sweat nervously.

"Pandora, demonstrate for us!" Bukubukuchagama commanded.

Pandora's Actor stepped into the center and transformed into Peroroncino. (The transformation reset after resurrection.)

Pandora's Actor picked up a stone, took a deep breath, and dramatically declared, "Resurrect, my elf!" while holding the stone high in the air with an overly theatrical tone.

Surprisingly, Pandora actually managed to capture the exact over-the-top vibe from Peroroncino's earlier antics.

"Lord Peroroncino, I noticed your performance lacked a bit of flair, so I made a few minor adjustments," Pandora explained earnestly.

"I tilted the hand by precisely 1.3 degrees, raised the pitch of my voice by 7 decibels, added a more intense gaze, and included a heartfelt gesture at the end—reaching out longingly but failing to make contact. That would truly elevate the performance..."

Listening to Pandora's detailed critique, Peroroncino felt like he was being publicly humiliated.

And it wasn't just him—Momonga felt the same sting of secondhand embarrassment.

After all, Pandora's Actor was his creation, and it was undeniable that Pandora's eccentric personality mirrored his own in many ways.

"Alright, alright! I get it! Just stop already!" Peroroncino interrupted, waving his hands to cut Pandora off.

"As expected of the Supreme One, you understand so quickly!" Pandora said with a nod before transforming back into his original form.

"Pfft!" Bukubukuchagama couldn't hold back her laughter.

"Revive, my elf! Hahaha!" she mocked, clutching her stomach as she laughed mercilessly at Peroroncino.

"Oh, by the way, Mare also acted rather... strangely earlier. Would you like me to imitate him as well?" Pandora asked, tilting his head.

"No, no, no! That won't be necessary!" Bukubukuchagama quickly refused, her eyes darting nervously, and a faint blush spread across her cheeks.

Peroroncino, sharp-eyed as always, noticed her reaction.

"Pandora, hurry up and perform Mare's act! I want to see it!" he said with a sly grin.

"I'm Peroroncino's older sister, so what I say goes! Mmmph!"

Bukubukuchagama tried to protest but was immediately silenced as Peroroncino playfully clamped his hand over her mouth.

"Pandora, listen to me! Perform it now!" Peroroncino insisted as he and Bukubukuchagama began playfully wrestling, their lighthearted scuffle filling the air with laughter.

Pandora's Actor glanced towards Momonga for guidance.

Peroroncino and Bukubukuchagama were both Supreme Beings, and with their conflicting orders, Pandora didn't know whose command to follow.

"Don't look at me. You decide on your own!" Momonga hesitated briefly before taking a neutral stance.

While he was closest to Peroroncino, his relationship with Bukubukuchagama was also solid.

In a situation like this, it was better not to offend anyone.

Pandora pondered for a moment and recalled the kinds of antics Peroroncino often got up to with Shalltear.

Compared to those, what Mare had said earlier was honestly pretty tame.

With that in mind, Pandora transformed into Mare's appearance.

"I'm a big mushroom! Lord Peroroncino, come and eat me! Hehehe!" Pandora said, mimicking Mare's earlier words with a disturbingly perfect imitation, complete with an exaggerated grin that was impossible to take seriously.

Then Pandora picked up the same stone he had used earlier as a prop.

"Stop it! Mmph!" Bukubukuchagama desperately tried to intervene but was firmly held back by Peroroncino.

"Don't mind her. Keep going!" Peroroncino said, once again covering Bukubukuchagama's mouth to prevent her protests.

"Lord Bukubukuchagama's feet smell so good! Hehehe! They taste amazing when licked! Truly worthy of Lord Bukubukuchagama-sama's feet!" Pandora added a line of his own for extra effect.

At this point, Peroroncino released Bukubukuchagama, who now just wanted to find a hole in the ground and disappear into it.

Her face was flushed, and embarrassment radiated off her in waves.

Pandora opened his mouth as if to continue but stopped when he noticed the stormy expression on Bukubukuchagama's face.

It was clear she had suffered a significant emotional blow from the performance.

Yet Pandora couldn't understand why Bukubukuchagama was so affected.

After all, it was just an imitation, wasn't it?

Momonga watched the scene unfold as the dignified images of two Supreme Beings crumbled spectacularly before their guardians.

He didn't know what to say.

Perhaps this was just their true selves—a group of ordinary people who could laugh, cry, suffer secondhand embarrassment, and occasionally fool around.

The title of Supreme Being seemed to weigh heavily on them, trapping them in an image of unattainable perfection.

But Momonga still chose to maintain the status quo.

Someone needed to stand tall and preserve the untouchable image of the Supreme Beings in the eyes of the Guardians.

For now, that burden would fall on him.
