" You look like trash." Alto said and Eros glared at him.
" I mean the human looks like trash but Master Eros just needs new clothes." Alto corrected himself immediately and Hudson and Eros walked by him, both headed out towards Eros' room.
Hudson and Eros had just gotten to Eros' apartment after getting released from the game and Alto could tell that Hudson was stressed.
" Where were you guys ?"
" The Game caught up to us. We had to win to be released."
" There's no way the game system would let you go that easily. They're definitely watching your every move and waiting for the right time to rip you to shreds. I hope you like being the one who got his power, Hudson." Alto smirked as he mocked Hudson and the blonde boy just ignored him.
" I'm so tired. I'm gonna borrow your bed." Hudson told Eros as he walked towards Eros' room and he dragged him back by his collar.
" My room is off-limits to humans." Eros stated as he walked by him went into his room and slammed the door shut in Hudson's face.
Hudson frowned.
" Go ask Yukina or Venus to lend you their bed." Eros shouted then he layed down on his bed and turned off the lights.
Hudson went back downstairs and Alto laughed at him.
" Where are the girls? " Hudson asked and Alto stopped laughing.
" They can't stay here anymore because of Eros' Pheromones. They're in the spaceship living on their own.You should wash up before you go anywhere near them. The bathroom's in the back."
"Oh. " Hudson said when he realized that in his current state Eros would have to stay far away from every girl including Enmei, who didn't know how serious the situation was yet.
" I'm gonna call someone before I head to the bathroom." Hudson replied to Alto .
" Whatever." Alto said as he walked away from Hudson not even a bit interested in what the human was doing.
Hudson knew Alto was jealous of him and he knew he only got Eros' power because he was lucky. Out of all the people Eros ever interacted with his power chose to latch on to Hudson , but it was a power that Hudson didn't believe he deserved. No one believed he deserved Eros' power actually but Hudson was determined to make sure that he put the power to good use.
Hudson knew it was luck. He knew that luck had been on his side and he wished it had happened sooner because he believed that he could have saved many people with this power.
Hudson walked towards the bathroom and took out his phone to call Enmei.
Her phone rang nonstop without an answer.
She wasn't in bed laying up waiting for him to call her and she wasn't sitting down watching movies either.
She had already heard what happened at the market. The news had reported that Eros' Pheromones were a threat to womankind and that women needed to stay far away from him . The news said he was destroying the human race and his Pheromones could very well lead to human extinction.
There was also a news report about strange monsters of unknown origin popping up all over the place.
" So you want a rifle ?" The man at the counter asked Enmei with a small smile and she nodded.
She had taken a bike to a gun shop across the city and decided that she'd do anything she needed to protect herself.
" Two. I want two rifles." Enmei replied and the man showed her the best he had.
" Do you know how to use one ? " The man asked and Enmei scowled at him.
" Better than any man." She said and she paid for both guns and got on her bike , put her helmet on and rode off.
Earth was changing and everyone could sense the inevitable doom that lied ahead.
Women were panicking everywhere but Enmei was planning a revolution.
" You can't just walk around half naked." Alto complained as Hudson finally got out of the shower. Orion was now sitting on the floor beside Alto and Hudson was just standing there with a white towel wrapped around his lower half.
He was dripping wet.
" Can you atleast put a shirt on ?" Orion asked and Hudson ignored what they said and sat right next to Alto on the couch.
Alto gritted his teeth in frustration.
" Move ! Go to your own house. Isn't your sister all alone? " Alto said angrily and Hudson turned and glared at him.
" You can hate me because I got the power that you wanted but that isn't going to change reality. I am NOT YOUR ENEMY. I am planning to do everything I can with this power for the good of every planet including yours." Hudson stated and Alto's eyes widened then he got even angrier.
" You're still not worthy of his power. You can say whatever you like but you aren't even strong enough to fight by yourself. Eros has to babysit you on the battlefield." Alto said and he got up and walk away.
Hudson was pissed, he held his head down and tears formed in his eyes.
'Fuck ! Does Eros really see me as someone he has to babysit ?'
Hudson felt inferior and belittled, he couldn't bear the feeling of being the loser that Eros always said he was.
" Get up ! " Eros' voice called out and Hudson flinched.
He looked around at Eros with wide eyes.
" The girls are being attacked. We all need to go out there and help them."
" But you can't - " Hudson started and Eros interrupted him.
" But you can." Eros said and Hudson immediately knew that Eros saw him as a last resort and a substitute for himself in that moment.
Hudson got dressed in a flash and ran out the door to go help the girls.
He saw Yukina and Venus fighting off massive monsters that seemed indestructible.
Venus' plants wrapped tightly around the monsters feet as it walked closer to them but the monster continued walking ripping the plants as it did.
Yukina shape shifted into a large bear, biting the monsters feet and Hudson ran towards them urgently.
" Hudson ?" Venus said as the boy blasted green waves of power at the large monsters .
He blasted off their arms and they regenerated.
" What the hell are these things ?! " He asked as he flew higher and blasted their heads.
Orion and Alto ran out together jumping into the air and launching themselves on top of the monsters.
The monsters growled and swatted at them as they flew in the air.
" Where's Amorette ?" Hudson asked and Venus replied as she took flight and used her plant vines to tie the monster arms to it's torso.
" She was injured and decided to hide." Venus answered the human and he looked said and while he was distracted the monster to his left swatted him and he fell to the ground.
" Pay attention to the danger infront of you ! This is why you don't deserve his power." Alto said and Venus flew down to help Hudson.
" Can you stop telling him that. I'm sure he already heard it ten thousand times from you before." Venus said as she tried to help Hudson up off the floor.
The sky was getting darker and the monsters were everywhere.
' I don't understand. Are they a part of the game ?' Hudson thought to himself and Eros rushed out.
" Move ! " Eros shouted at Venus and she grabbed Yukina and teleported back to where Amorette was hiding.
Yukina transformed back to her original form and took a potion out of her pocket.
" Drink this. It will heal you." Yukina told Amorette as she handed to potion to the injured girl.
Amorette took it and drank it all and she slowly started to heal.
" I'm going to end these beast once and for all! " Eros shouted as he joined the other guys in fighting while Hudson layed on the ground, whincing in pain and bleeding.
Orion sliced the monsters with his sword, aiming for their heads and Eros used two strikes of power to crush the monsters skulls.
More monsters were coming at them and approaching Hudson who could barely move.
Hudson was terrified as he layed on the ground , he began trembling and tried to use his powers to stop the monster but It moved its foot and lifted it's leg above him to crush him to bits.
Hudson shut his eyes waiting for the impact that never came.
He was trembling in fear when he opened his eyes to see a little girl in a pink dress standing above him with a shocked look on her face.
" Where am I ? " She asked confused as she stepped away from Hudson.
She had been the monster that was trying to crush him, but she had suddenly transformed back in to her original human form along with the other monsters.
Hudson looked around to see a group of people standing around him.
" How did I get out here? " One man had asked and Eros , Orion and Alto flew down to the ground.
Orion walked towards Hudson and helped him to stand to his feet.
" Let's separate the women from the group." Hudson said and Orion nodded.
Orion used his power to create a border between him and everyone else.
" Men on the left side of the border and women on the right." Orion announced and everyone started getting in their right positions.
" I'll go get Venus and the others. " Hudson said as he limped in the opposite direction of everyone else.
He went out searching for the girls and found them heading towards him.
" Are you guys ok ?" He limped towards the girls slowly.
" We're fine."
Amorette responded with trembling in fear , she turned invisible then visible again then went straight into incognito mode.
It was clear that she had been traumatized.
"I'm going to go check on my little sister. I'll be right back. " Hudson said and he headed back in the direction that he was coming from.
The group of confused people were still standing outside talking amoung themselves when he walked by.
' How strange ? They became mutated by an unknown source and went on a rampage yielding to beastly instincts .' Hudson thought as he walked by.
Eros and Alto had left the scene but Orion was still standing with the little girl and everyone else.
" I'm going to make sure you get home safely.' Orion told the little girl as Hudson walked by and then he started asking her questions about her parents.
Hudson headed to his apartment and was met by his little sister's screams. Hotaru was screaming in terror at the top of her lungs.
" Hotaru ! " He shouted in panic and the screaming stopped.
Enmei opened the door.
" Calm down we're just watching a scary movie." Enmei reassured him and he sighed in relief.
Enmei was wearing jean shorts and a red tank top.
" Why didn't you answer my calls ? You know I always worry about you." Hudson said and Enmei tried to hide the excitement that was on her face.
Stars lit up the sky and the wind blew lightly causing Hudson's blonde hair to move a bit as he stood at the door.
" Aren't you gonna come inside ? It's your place." Enmei said and Hudson walked by her and sat beside his sister on the couche.
Hotaru's eyes were now glued onto the TV screen as the movie played.
" I thought you hated scary movies. " Hudson said and Hotaru didn't reply.
Enmei sat down beside him and he felt happy to be together with her again.
" I'm going to make some popcorn." Hudson said as he got up and went to the kitchen.
He opened his white cupboards and took out a bowl and started searching for the popcorn when his phone started ringing.
He reached into his pocket annoyed.
' Who the hell is calling me now ?' He thought frustratedly. He took his phone out his pocket and place the bowl on the sink.
He stared at his phone as he read the name on the caller ID.
' Enmei ? Why'd she call I'm right here in the kitchen. ' He thought and he answered the phone laughing.
" Hey Enmei , why are you calling me ? I'm right in the kitchen. You could have just walked in and told me what you wanted.Why are you being so lazy." He teased her playfully and there was a moment of silence before his best friend replied.
" Hudson I'm all the way across the city. What are you talking about ? I went to buy some stuff and I'm visiting my father." Enmei replied over the phone and Hudson felt chills run down his spine.
If Enmei was across the city with her dad then who the hell was that sitting on the couch and watching a movie with his sister ?
