"Thank you for the offer, but we're good." Yun Tian said without any hesitation.
That made Captain Fang reveal a frown.
He had even gone out of his way to invite Yun Tian in front of everyone like this, showing just how he valued him.
That was what made Yun Tian's rejection sting even more.
But in the end, it didn't seem like he blamed Yun Tian for this matter. Instead, it seemed like he was blaming this matter on me with the way that he turned to look at me.
It was almost as if I was stealing his friend from him with the way that he looked at me.
There was no doubt that this would leave a bad impression on this Captain Fang and it was likely that he would try to do something to me in the future. But there was nothing that I could do about this.
This was a matter between Yun Tian and Captain Fang, I was just the unfortunate person that was caught in between them.
