"Brooooooooooo!" Ethan dragged out the word like a man betrayed by fate itself, bursting into the living room where Alexander was quietly sipping black coffee like some royal villain plotting the downfall of the universe.
Alexander didn't even blink. His leg crossed over the other, arms resting on the armrest, gaze focused out the window as if the drama happening two feet from him didn't exist.
"Why is this robot following me non-stop!?" Ethan cried again, throwing himself onto the sofa like a heartbroken prince. "He's everywhere, Bro! He was outside the shower. He folded my socks! And just now...just now he had the audacity to scold me for throwing my wet towel on the bed!"
Alexander finally tilted his head a little but still said nothing. He took another calm sip of his coffee, the silence around him louder than Ethan's complaints.
Ethan grabbed a pillow and hugged it like it was the only loyal friend he had left in this cruel world.
