Sometime later that day, in a dimly lit room, three people were seated, and the atmosphere was sombre.
"How is she?" a hoarse male voice sounded; tiredness visible in the tone.
"Huh! How else can she be? Damn! That girl just wants to kill us!" an angry female voice sounded, completely pissed off by the situation.
"Bertha, calm down!"
"Irene. Do you want me to calm down? Don't tell me you knew that she was going to do something crazy like that?" Bertha angrily asked, as she pointed at Irene, who hadn't yet recovered from what she witnessed earlier that day.
Irene glared at Bertha, her fists clenched, and retorted, "You are fucking crazy! Do you think that if I fucking knew that Briar would end up in such a bloody mess, I would have allowed it?"
"You …."
Bang.
Irene slammed the desk angrily, and a crack formed.
