I've never seen such a brazen person!
Andy raised an eyebrow, but his hand did not stop moving.
Another green light flashed, and a Death Eater fell to the ground, instantly swallowed up by the flames.
"Collins!"
Snape's voice carried an urgency: "Let me handle this!"
Of course, he wanted to kill these Death Eaters, too.
These people are the fanatical Death Eaters, with an uncountable number of lives on their hands.
But Snape didn't want Andy to kill them.
Both as a professor and an adult, he didn't want Andy to get too much blood on his hands.
The more people you kill, the less you value life.
Not to mention, the Killing Curse is the most malevolent dark magic.
"Er..."
Andy paused in his movements. "Professor, you can actually move in the fiendfyre; it won't harm you."
As he spoke, another flash of green light flashed.
Snape's breathing caught on hearing this.
He had heard rumours of this before, that Andy's fiendfyre could distinguish between friend and foe.
However, the situation was so dire just now, with the ferocious fiendfyre surging towards them, Snape had not thought of this in a moment of desperation.
After all, it is the Fiendfyre Curse; who would dare to meet it physically?
Hearing Andy's personal confirmation, Snape immediately stopped defending with magic.
Fiendfyre rushed at him, but Snape did not feel the slightest temperature, and Fiendfyre did not harm him.
'Is it mind control magic that he was talking about?'
Snape glanced at Andy and pondered thoughtfully.
He knew that Andy had been studying the power of the mind, but he had never expected that Andy's accomplishments in the field of the mind had far surpassed the scope of his understanding.
Whether it was the magic that froze the Gringotts, the current fiendfyre curse that could distinguish between friend and foe, or even the Patronus charm from a few years ago...there was no doubt that Andy had made unprecedented achievements in the field of the mind.
Combined with the successful magic transfiguration and the rumoured successful creation of the Obscurus...
He had surpassed Voldemort!
Looking at Andy before him, Snape realised this with crystal clarity.
So what about Dumbledore?
What level of accomplishment had Dumbledore reached in magic?
Love!
This was the subject Dumbledore had been focusing on.
It would also be the next area Andy would focus on.
It was also the power that Lily used to defeat Voldemort!
Snape's mind reeled with thoughts, but his movements did not slow down.
"Avada Kedavra!"
There was a flash of green light.
"Snape, you really are a traitor!" a Death Eater shouted hoarsely.
His voice revealed his utter despair.
One Andy had already driven them into a desperate situation, and if Snape was added to the equation… he couldn't see any hope of a reversal.
And indeed, that was exactly what happened.
In less than half a minute, the Death Eaters were all dead.
Andy waved his wand, and the raging fiendfyre immediately died down.
"Professor Snape, long time no see,"
Andy walked up to him and said with a smile, "What's your plan next?"
Snape said in a low voice, "Dumbledore should be holding off the Dark Lord long enough; we need to get Harry there as soon as possible."
"...Of course!"
Andy shrugged and said, "But I was asking you."
"Can you go back to Hogwarts now?"
If Snape had been just a simple Death Eater, Dumbledore could easily testify on his behalf.
Just like what happened during the last war.
Snape infiltrated Hogwarts as a spy, and since no one died at his hands, Dumbledore could easily vouch for his innocence.
But this time was different!
Snape took part in the Battle of the Ministry of Magic, the Battle of Diagon Alley... oh, and the Battle of the Gringotts this time.
Even if Dumbledore testified on his behalf, those affected by the war would not easily forgive Snape.
He could no longer return to Hogwarts.
Snape fell silent for a moment on hearing this.
"I have my own things to do," Snape replied.
"Oh?" Andy raised an eyebrow.
Snape looked at Andy and said firmly, "Collins, we should take Harry to Dumbledore now. This is our last chance to defeat the Dark Lord."
"There's no rush..."
Andy laughed lightly and unhurriedly said, "Professor, I think my own business is more important."
Snape: "..."
"What do you mean?" Snape asked in annoyance.
"This!"
Andy took Voldemort's arm out of the space pocket and handed it to Snape. "I want to know its magical properties... I was going to study it myself, but there's so much I need to learn that I simply don't have the time."
Alchemy and the study of love alone already occupied a great deal of Andy's time.
Although the study of magical materials and ingredients is also one of the fundamental branches of alchemy, it would take a long time to gain a thorough and in-depth understanding.
In contrast, it would be much easier to leave this to Snape.
Snape is a Potions Master.
He can conduct research from the perspective of Potions.
Snape's eyes flickered slightly at this, and he replied, "Okay. After today's business is over, you can come to my house."
"Thanks!"
Andy looked at Snape intently and said, "Professor, didn't you agree to this pretty quickly this time?"
"I just don't want to waste time," Snape said coldly.
"If you insist, so be it," Andy said with a light laugh.
There was no doubt that Snape loved magic.
Since his student days, he had been constantly experimenting with dark magic and had invented many useful spells. In the field of potions, Snape had even reached the forefront of the magical world.
There was no denying that Snape had a passion for magic!
What's more, he has witnessed Andy's growth.
From a novice wizard to the very top of the wizarding world, it only took Andy three years.
This year, Andy is in his fourth year.
More importantly, Andy has exceeded the limits of a wizard!
This kind of progress is completely different from people like Dumbledore, Grindelwald, and Voldemort.
They are just exceptionally powerful wizards.
They relied on their own high-level magical expertise and techniques like magic transfiguration.
But Andy...
Andy has truly pushed the limits of what a wizard can achieve!
His mind and magic are fused.
He has created his very own obscurus.
This combination has pushed the limits of what a wizard can achieve magically and opened up a whole new level.
How could Snape remain indifferent when he witnessed all this with his own eyes?
Not to mention, he truly has a passion for magic.
Andy is a little curious about what Snape's future will be once he is no longer bound by the 'Harry Potter' shackles.
Will he be unable to move on because of his love for Lily?
Or will he continue to study potions and magic and find a new way forward?
Andy hopes it's the latter!
It would be too boring to be the only one walking on the path of exploring magic.
"Professor, I hope we can travel together,"
Andy said with a double meaning, "Let's go!"
