Chapter 3 - Sean Martin 1

"I know right. Literature is the worst. Who would enjoy reading books?" I asked Nelly. It has been about thirty minutes since class begun but we haven't stopped talking. At some point we were even threatened to be taken to the principals office. It worked but we kept quite for a few minutes and continued right after. I know I hate snobs but she isn't one of them.

She doesn't like literature because she hates it too. She is like my beautiful... Bold... Self. I know I said she looked shy but now... She isn't. She talks a lot. Not in a bad way that I can't even pitch in.

We talked about our likes and dislikes. Turns out she is a foodie just like me. But what amazes me is she gains weight at the right places and yet still looks like a model.

When the bell rang, we made our way to our next class. We have the same classes since we haven't chosen our subjects. We are in the 9th grade after all.

*Sean's POV*

Sitting through this board meeting is beyond boring. I would prefer being at school and looking at that girl than being here. But I guess being a CEO too has its disadvantages.

Sitting here listening to people go on and on how they think they can make the business more successful than it already is. Just sitting here makes me think of the first time I saw her

*Flash back*

I am sitting at one of the benches in the park, far away

From all the people who act like they care about me when in truth they don't.

That was when this girl about a year or two younger than me passed by. She was walking with people who looked more or less like her parents. A beautiful smile was plastered on her face. Big brown eyes looking around making her look cuter than any other girl I have ever seen. She looked my way and her smile grew making me forget the reason why I came to the park in the first place. Her brown eyes looked at me with anticipation.

*End of flash back*

Seeing as if this board meeting is taking forever, I stand up and dismiss all of them. I make my way to school to see my brown eyed angel.

I missed two weeks of school to be here but that doesn't matter that much. I will catch up.

* Loverina's POV*

We're all seated in the cafeteria enjoying our lunch. Nelly, Regina and I. The day has been going great. Found a new friend and the creepy stare seems to have vanished.

"Guys do you know this guy named Sean Martin?" Nelly asks. Regina looks at me with a look that says 'why is she asking about it?' I return it with my own and she decides to voice out our thoughts. "Why are you asking us about me?" She asked in a confused tone. .

Nelly looked shocked at first when she realized that we don't know him. "Sean Martin is the heir of the Martin Empire." Seeing our and so what and confused looks, she continued. "He is the CEO of a multimillionaire company. And he is a student, here at Moyo Royal High. I can't believe you guys don't know him."

Hearing that almost gave me a heart attack. Key word almost. Why would I be surprised when a rich millionaire kid comes to this school?

But what shocked me is the fact that I once talked to him. Actually not once but a few times.

Last year, during the final exams, we were forced to come to study after writing. Both boys and girls. During study we decided to play cards. A game consisting of a few girls ended as a game of both boys and girls in the hostel. Some didn't play but most played.

I always found myself sitting next to Sean and eventually started talking. This one time he came in late and all the seats next to me were taken. It was the best spot as it allowed you to see everyone playing and chances of someone sitting behind you were small. I had moved so I could sit next to him.

But never in that period of time did he say or show he was that rich. Or his family was that rich. I guess he modest.doesn't brag or flash about his parents' money. And I admire him for that.
