'As I thought… the Gunners won't turn a blind eye to something that threatens a crewmate.' Haru wasn't completely sure about the Tip he got from the System, but this confirmed his suspicion.

Although they couldn't handle complex tasks different from what they used to do when they were alive—like how the Captain couldn't remove the chains by himself—the Gunners were different.

Their job was to maintain security on the Deck, and the presence of that monster disturbed their peace. They wouldn't hesitate to respond to that threat.

'But even if we have more numbers, it won't matter unless we find its weakness quickly… please, buy me some time!'

Three bullets had drilled into its head, but Haru knew it wouldn't die that easily.

"GRRRRWWWWLLLLLLL!!!"

Within seconds, the deep wounds healed, and it darted toward the Gunners, now seeing them as a bigger threat than Haru. Also, his irrational emotions toward them was the major reason.
