Chapter Six
A sports car suddenly sped towards Sofia Hamilton, accelerating relentlessly as it roared in her direction!
By the time she noticed, it was already too late.
"Watch out!"
Harry Greene's chest tightened as he instinctively grabbed her arm and pulled her aside.
At the critical moment, the sports car whizzed past them, kicking up a fierce gust.
Sofia was shaken, staring at the car disappearing into the distance, still unable to process what had just happened.
That car was obviously aiming straight for her.
If she had been a second slower...
She would have...
The consequences truly defied imagination.
Her heart raced, her legs weak, barely hearing Harry Greene's endless questions, "Are you okay?"
"Sofia?"
"Did you hit yourself anywhere?"
He asked anxiously, knowing that if he hadn't reacted swiftly, tragedy would have struck.
Sofia managed to come to her senses after his frantic questioning, her vision finally focusing as she looked at him, "I... I'm fine."
