Xaviera tossed the phone aside and rushed into the man's arms.
Caleb caught her effortlessly and gently kissed her forehead, his voice hoarse but tender, "Xaviera, I'm sorry."

"Didn't you say you'd come back in a week?"
"I came back early because I was worried about you." Caleb's eyes were full of tenderness, shining like stars as he held the petite woman in his arms.
"I have already withdrawn myself. All that's left is to watch and see what happens next."
"Watch and see?" Xaviera felt stifled. "The Mamet Corporation's stocks have plummeted, and the internet is full of criticism. Aren't you worried?"
