Imagome was slowly walking out of the arena after winning his match against his opponent, a girl from Iwa.
A few minutes later, he had already left the arena and was headed toward his designated tent, where he could rest after the fight. Although the battle was brief, he had still expended a significant amount of chakra to produce three clones.
- Some time earlier in the arena -
The moment the commentator announced Imagome as the winner of the battle, a squad of three medical ninjas quickly entered the arena.
The medical team immediately began administering first aid to Okura, but the wound was severe. She had to be transported to another location. Fortunately, a medical tent was set up nearby where Okura could receive the care she desperately needed.
Once Okura was brought to the medical tent, the commentator's voice echoed again since the arena was now empty.
"The next match will feature Doki Sarutobi facing Inakami from Kumo."
The two genin entered the arena, but something unexpected happened in the VIP area— the Tsuchikage was no longer visible.
- Back to the present -
Imagome continued to head toward his tent, lost in thought about the match. He still had about an hour before his next fight and was considering how to use the time.
"I'll grab some kunai and shuriken from my tent, then rest for 10 minutes before heading back to the arena," Imagome thought to himself.
Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Hello," a voice said from behind.
Imagome turned around, surprised because he hadn't noticed anyone approaching him. But when he saw the individual's face, a chill ran down his spine. He was frozen in fear and, for a moment, considered fleeing— but couldn't move.
"Excuse me," was all Imagome could manage to say.
"You are the genin from Kumo who harmed two shinobi from my village," said Arano, the Tsuchikage.
"But it's the Chunnin exam! It's not my fault," Imagome muttered, his voice barely audible.
"Yes, the Chunnin exam is dangerous, but how do you explain that Okura is fighting for her life right now, and Mata is nowhere to be found? All of this... because of you," Arano said, his voice filled with fury.
"I'm sorry," Imagome whispered, his face pale.
"Sorry? You say sorry after humiliating my village? You've managed to anger me. Was what you did worth it? Will it still be worth it if I kill you right now?" Arano's voice was cold and menacing.
"Euh…" Imagome mumbled, too terrified to speak.
"I think it's time I show you what happens when someone messes with Iwagakure," Arano said.
The Tsuchikage slowly approached the genin, and when he was close enough, he delivered a brutal punch to Imagome's stomach. The young genin was too afraid to block the attack, and even if he had, it wouldn't have made a difference.
Imagome hit the ground, blood spilling from his lips.
But Arano wasn't finished. As Imagome regained consciousness, he was immediately hit again— this time, a kick aimed at his arm.
The force of the kick sent Imagome flying several meters, coughing up even more blood this time.
Arano prepared to strike again, but he was interrupted by a voice behind him.
"Stop right now, Tsuchikage!" the voice shouted.
"Hmmm?" Arano muttered, turning to face the new arrival.
"Oh, what a surprise, Lord Raikage. What are you doing here? Did you get lost?" Arano said sarcastically.
"YOU ATTACKED A GENIN FROM MY VILLAGE! EXPLAIN YOURSELF NOW OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!" the Raikage shouted, his voice filled with anger.
"Huh? Explain what? You already know why I attacked this genin. Don't act like you know nothing! This genin earned what he deserved!" Arano said, his tone serious.
"So now it's my fault? DO YOU TAKE ME FOR A FOOL?" the Raikage shouted, his anger boiling over.
"You always have to destroy everything. You don't know how to behave," Arano retorted.
"I THINK YOU'VE GONE MAD, YOUNG TSUCHIKAGE. BUT DON'T WORRY, I WILL FIX YOU. I'LL PUNCH YOU SO MUCH THAT NOTHING WILL BE LEFT OF YOU!" the Raikage said as he assumed a fighting stance.
Before Arano could finish his sentence, the Raikage activated his lightning cloak and charged toward him, attempting to strike him in the face.
The last time the Raikage had landed such a blow was because they had been very close to each other, and the Tsuchikage had been unprepared for an attack from a Kage.
But this time, Arano was ready. As the Raikage got near, he quickly threw a Jinton Cube at him.
The cube expanded rapidly, destroying everything in its path. However, the Raikage managed to veer off to the right at the last moment, narrowly avoiding the attack.
The Raikage quickly turned to face the Tsuchikage again, only to see another Jinton Cube coming at him. Thankfully, he had more time to react this time, and he jumped to the left just in time to avoid it.
Now, with both Kages at close range, the Tsuchikage raised three fingers, causing a massive wall of earth to rise between them.
The wall didn't last long— it was quickly destroyed by the Raikage's charge— but it gave the Tsuchikage a few seconds to prepare another Jinton Cube.
The Raikage was forced to leap to the right again, unable to risk being hit by the devastating attack.
The two Kages now found themselves in a tense stalemate, but the question was: would it last?

something about the Jinton ( from wiki )
Dust Release (Particle Style) is a nature transformation kekkei tōta, a combination of earth, wind, and fire. To perform Dust Release, users form a small three-dimensional object (e.g. a cube, a cone, etc.) out of chakra in their hands. The object expands once released by the user and moves astonishingly fast at its target; anything that passes through it (or that is passed through by it) is disintegrated on a molecular level. Because of the sheer destructiveness of Dust Release, its users are usually unmatched in a fight and they can easily fend off countless enemies. For this reason, the best way to combat one Dust Release user is with a second Dust Release user.
Dust Release techniques seem to require a certain amount of preparation time, making it possible to prematurely halt the technique before it is completed. The hands also play a crucial role in the preparation, so interfering with the user's arms can hinder the technique.Dust Release techniques seem to be rather chakra-taxing.
