Aldwin and the knights ran as fast as they could till they reached the other squad. They saw them fighting the orcs and the knights had already brought down 3 orcs. However, there was something wrong. The Knights who reported only 9 orcs failed to see the fact that there were 11 orcs, including 2 champion orcs, in the bunch, which might change the plans drastically.
Champion orcs are stronger and more intelligent than the average orc. Their power is scaled up to the peaks of 3 stars one step short of being a 4 star, only the berserk orcs are stronger than them.
When Aldwin arrived on the scene, 4 of the knights had been injured. The others were struggling because the subjugation leader was fighting the champion orc and 3 other knights were keeping the other orc at bay they didn't have enough men to take care of the orcs. After Aldwin's group got a sense of the situation, they all attacked. The vice leader that was guarding Aldwin was ordered by Aldwin to go help the leader "john, go help the leader fight off the champion orcs" Aldwin tells the vice leader, the vice leader then responded "Young master I need to be here to protect you in such a dangerous situation" Aldwin then gives him an explanation as to why he should go help the leader "you should go to him because he's the strongest out of all of us helping him quickly defeat that champion orc will make it so that he can help the others" John then rushed out to help the leader.
Orcs are strong beasts that stand at 7 feet/ 213cm in height and weigh over 300 pounds so this isn't a fight that Aldwin can help much in. Although Aldwin was tall and strong for his age standing at 5'1 feet and had already developed strong muscles, in contrast, kids his age are usually 4'5 feet tall and have little muscle development. His father, the Lord known as the Northern Hammering demon, the 5-star knight who got his nickname for his time on the battle fields with his war hammer, he himself is 6'0/ 182cm and being very muscular, Aldwin had his blood running through him.
During the fight with the orcs, an orc injured the knight he was fighting. This injury made the knight unable to move. The orc then ran towards the undefended boy he saw, with a mace in hand, trying to kill him, even though the orc had also gotten injured by the knight, and is missing his left eye now. Orcs are creatures that will continue to fight till their enemies are dead. When it saw the boy without a weapon it saw an opportunity for a kill.
Aldwin too drew his weapon, the sword, ready to fight back and charge at the incoming orc "if you wish for death, come and die by my sword" Aldwin shouted which got the attention of the knights, to which the leader shouted " YOUNG MASTER, RUN" he couldn't go save his young master because he was preoccupied with the champion orc.
The orc then swung his mace at Aldwin, Aldwin then dodged to the left of the orc's blind side and launched a barrage of attacks at the left side of the orc trying to injure the orc or better kill the orc, the attacks had little effect but that wasn't going to stop him he kept attacking the orc's blind side, the orc then swung his mace at a horizontal line which made Aldwin unable to dodge and had to block it since it was too late to step to the back and because the speed he only could parry it with his sword, to which he spewed blood from the impact "cough cough".
At that moment from the impact of the orc, Aldwin managed to summon his strength and had a realization of aura.
When a warrior reaches the second star, they must grasp aura at least partially, or they won't reach the second star; even a small amount of aura held by second-star warriors is enough to cause a huge difference in their abilities.
After realizing that he reached the second-star Aldwin pushed back the orc's mace "all this time you were the one with the advantage now it's my turn" said Aldwin, he adjusts his body to stab the orc's left foot making it practically useless, the orc swung again but Aldwin had just leveled up and dodging that is easy for him, then he launches himself at the orc's other eye making the orc completely blind, which made the orc easy pickings, "haha haha, earlier you were the one who was bullying me with your size, now you cant see hahaha" Aldwin the got into stance then launches himself at the orc's head cutting it off.
The knights had been watching the whole time, but they couldn't do anything because of their own fights, but at that very moment, when the orc's head fell to the ground, everyone was filled with pride and their morale went up, while the leader shouted: "HOORAY to the young master, men, don't let some beastly orcs defeat you, TAKE THEIR HEAD TO MAKE AN OFFERING TO THE YOUNG MASTER" all the knights started fiercely attacking the orcs as if they had taken potions which made them go berserk, cause in their eyes all they wanted was to finish this fight off to go by their young master's side.
Shortly after, Aldwind passed out after having been exhausted from all the fighting.
