Synopsis
What if a different Satoru Gojo awakened after nearly dying at Toji’s hands? One who felt the weight of Riko Amanai’s death far more deeply. Who, instead of asking Geto if he wanted to kill the humans who applauded, simply wiped them out right then and there — with his own hands. Chapter 1 - The Enlightenment of Satoru Gojo (1/3)

The mission should've been over. After all, he had completed all of his objectives. The peak of the Jujutsu world, that Gojo brat? Dead. Ponytail boy, clearly full of himself? Dropped like crap on the ground. And the Star Plasma Vessel? Stone-cold dead.

Everything was perfect. The payment was already hitting his bank account, with a generous bonus to top it off. He could almost smell the money.

So why? Why, in the name of all the Jujutsu world's crap, was Toji seeing him standing there? "Is this for real?"

"Yo. Long time, huh?"

Satoru Gojo was there, standing, wearing that irritating smile that made anyone want to punch him. The top half of his uniform was open, revealing a white button-up shirt soaked in dried blood.

His white hair was stained dark red on the left side — exactly where Toji had driven the blade in. But what really caught the bounty hunter's eye were the Six Eyes. They glowed with a supernatural brilliance, like the very sky had descended to stare down the world.

'Something's changed,' Toji thought, noticing the obvious shift in the brat's gaze.

"Amanai Riko," Satoru said calmly, shoving his hands into his pants pockets. "Did she suffer?"

Toji narrowed his eyes, instinct screaming to stay alert. With a swift motion, he reached over his shoulder, pulling the Inverted Spear of Heaven from the mouth of the cursed spirit. "You talking about the girl? Put a bullet through her brain."

"A quick death, then." Gojo tilted his head, the smile never wavering. "Ah! Before anything else—" He bowed in an exaggerated, mocking gesture that was almost an insult in itself. "I want to thank you. When you so kindly stabbed me, that was the little push I needed to finally understand. The core of cursed energy."

Toji clenched his teeth, his hand tightening around the hilt of the blade hard enough to whiten his knuckles. "You're talkin' a lot for someone who was bleeding out on the floor just minutes ago, brat."

"Maybe I am. It's just... I've never felt so alive before," Gojo replied, lifting his head. "Now, I hope you're ready, because I'll only kill you once I'm... satisfied."
